Super Mario Party Jamboreeis the latest game in the Mario Party series. This game brings a variety of new and updated minigames, maps, and buddies. Buddies are a brand-new feature where you may get help from a classic Mario character during the game.

When a jamboree buddy appears, you have to pass by them to start a minigame. Just because you pass by one doesn’t mean you automatically get it. All players play, and the winner gets to travel around the course with a buddy. Stick around to find out which minigame is the best!

Mario’s Three-peat

Mario’s minigame has three rounds. The first is jumping up a large stalk, the second is rolling around on balls to try to knock off your competitor, and the last is a flag game where you have to raise the same flag as the example gives you.

This game is fun, but it’s one of the most basic minigames that the jamboree buddies have. Jumping and raising flags is easy, and the second game is so straightforward that everyone wins most of the time. Mario is one of the easiest games to beat.

9Peach

Peach’s Day Off

Peach has oneof the easiest minigamesout of all the buddies. Similar to Mario, Peach’s game has multiple rounds. In the first round, you’re carrying gifts, and hoping not to drop any. In the second, you play a guessing game where you attempt to pick a tray full of donuts that nobody else picked.

The last game is gathering gems to create fireworks. This game gives you the most points, so even if you’re behind, you can win from the third minigame alone.

Jr’s Jauntlet

Junior’s Jauntlet is a bunch of smaller games that give you points. Sometimes you simply have to dodge something, other times you have to collect items. These games are very straightforward, and you get one point for surviving each round.

This game is a little rudimentary, and more rounds than not involve dodging an object being thrown at you. It fits the character, but isn’t the most enticing game.

7Daisy

Daisy’s Field Day

Daisy’s Field Day is a large obstacle course. The entire game is about collecting the most floral tokens as you travel along the course. It’s got a great aesthetic as a course that floats above water.

This game requires a bit more skill. You can cut out other players easily by pushing them or jumping on them, and there are many ways that your competitors can fall into the water. Overall, this minigame is easy to understand, fun, and pretty simple.

6Donkey Kong

DK’s Konga Line

Donkey Kong’s minigame is music-based. DK sits in the middle of a konga circle and bangs on the drums; as he does, notes float toward you and your competitors. You have to hit the notes on time, similar to how you hit moves in Dance Dance Revolution.

This game’s booster is that you get a wider range for hitting the notes, which makes it one of the strongest boosters. This game is fun but is less repeatable than other games.

5Wario

Wario’s Buzzer Beat

Wario’s minigame is very similar to a game show. You have different questions that you have to answer using the buttons on your controller. Some examples are how many coins are on the screen, or which piranha plant is the longest.

This game is great. The questions change a bit when you replay it, so you can’t just memorize the answers. There are ten rounds, which makes it one of the longer minigames.

4Rosalina

Rosalina’s Radical Race

Rosalina’s Radical Race is a snowboarding minigame. You ride along a snowy landscape, pushing past your competitors. Eventually, this leads to a road that mimics Rainbow Road from Mario Kart.

There are a lot of different boosts throughout this minigame that you can grab to get ahead. This is a very straightforward game, but that doesn’t make it less fun.

3Waluigi

Waluigi’s Pinball Arcade

This game is loads of fun. It’s set up like an old-fashioned pinball machine, and you simply have to play pinball. The big twist is that at the bottom of your machine, there are letters (that, of course, spell out Waluigi). If you hit all the letters, you’ll get a bonus.

The bonuses differ. Sometimes you’ll get a disco ball that doubles your points, other times Waluigi himself will come and add ten-point tokens to your machine. Some people love this game and appreciate the nostalgia, whileothers are less thrilled with it.

2Yoshi

Yoshi’s Mountain Race

Yoshi’s Mountain Race is a long-form obstacle course that is reminiscent of Yoshi Island. In this minigame, each player gets to ride on a Yoshi and wander along the course, hoping to reach the finish line first.

Throughout the game, there are random apples. If you eat them, you’ll dash forward, which can help you take the lead.

1Luigi

Luigi’s Rescue Operation

Luigi’s minigame is somewhatreminiscent of Luigi’s Mansion 3. Luigi is taken inside a spooky castle. You have to go through several trials to find him and help him escape.

This game is one of the most convoluted, which makes it the most interesting. You have multiple trials that differ per room, including putting together paintings, finding a statue that doesn’t fit a pattern, clearing paths, and more. It’s similar to an escape room, and fun to play over and over again.
