Sometimes, cooking mechanics in video games serve very little purpose, but sometimes, a beautiful game comes along that inspires you to reach culinary heights you’d never dreamed of.Throne and Libertyis definitely the latter sort of game, and every single recipe in the game is useful in some way or another; you can’t go wrong with any of them.

Some recipes are absolutely fantastic to have around for endgame content, and others are entirely geared towards PvP. Many of the best dishes in the game are quite expensive or extensive in their preparation to cook, while other food is quite easy to make and still provides quite a nice little bonus.

The Rye Bread recipe in Throne And Liberty.

This list includes a mix of the statistically best recipes in the game, as well as some of the lower-level recipes that are good enough to keep using for a long time.

10Daybreak Shore Feast

PvP Evasion 120 | PvP Endurance 120 | Duration 30 Min | Feeds 6

The Daybreak Shore Feast is one of the highest-quality meals around, meant to feed not just youbut six people overall. It’s meant to amp all of you up for PvP,increasing your PvP Evasion and Endurance each by 120 for 30 minutes. Increasing your Evasion is going to cause your enemies to miss much more often, and the higher your Endurance, the less likely your enemy is to hit you with a Crit.

But the Daybreak Shore Feast isn’t an easy day in the kitchen. It is going to take one already-prepared Rare Scorpion Tail Fritters dish, one Rare Golden Apple Pie, one Rare Dawn Crab Platter, and five of either Rare Marind Ore, Rare Marind, or Rare Processed Marind.

9Vienta Banquet

PvP Hit Chance 100 | PvP Critical Hit Chance 100 | Duration 30 Min | Feeds 6

The Vienta Banquet serves a very similar purpose as the Daybreak Shore Feast, just from the other side of the coin. Also aPvP dish that serves six, the Vienta Banquet is going toincrease your PvP Hit Chance and PvP Critical Hit Chance each by 100 for 30 minutes. Instead of lessening the damage of your enemies, this is going to effectively increase your own damage-per-second.

But much for the same reason, this is going to be a prohibitively expensive meal to make from scratch, taking one Rare Scorpion Tail Fritters, one Rare Tranapple Tart, one Rare Aurora Seafood Platter, and five of either Rare Marind Ore, Rare Marind, or Rare Processed Marind.

8Crab Meat Pie

Sollant Bonus 50% | Abyssal Contract Token Efficiency 10% | 15-60 Min

The Crab Meat Pie is a recipe that doesn’t require nearly as much time to unlock as the Banquets or Feasts and is significantly easier to make, as well. Crab Meat Pieincreases your Sollant gainby 50 percent, making it a great way to build your bank back up if you’re getting a little bit low.

This is a very cheap recipe that could just be consumed before doing any real light activity that doesn’t require a different meal bonus. It takes Salt, Wheat, four Onions, and either one Sea Crab Nipper or three Hermit Crab Tails.

7Rye Bread

Fishing Mastery Bonus 15% | 15-30 Min

If you’re planning on chilling for a little bit and taking out the old fishing rod, then Rye Bread is going to be your best friend. Rye Breadincreases your Fishing Mastery Bonus by 15 percent, ensuring you’re getting the most out of your little fishing trip.

It’s an extremely easy recipe to make, taking just Salt, Milk, and Golden Rye. While Golden Rye does have a daily limit on how many you can buy, if you’re buying some every day, you aren’t likely to run out of it too quickly.

Salt can be difficult to obtain; grinding crustaceans on the beach or Amitoi Expeditions are the best ways to obtain it.

6Vienta-Style Seafood Fritters

Incoming Heal 2.5% | Amitoi Heal 50 % | 15-60 Min

For the more defensive-minded players out there, you might wish that you could get a bit more healing from your allies when the going gets tough. A lot of the time, if you’re losing a fight, you lose it a little bit at a time; the Vienta-Style Seafood Frittersincrease incoming healing by 2.5 percent and your Amitoi’s heal by 50 percent, and that little bit can make a big difference spread over multiple heals.

This is a middle-ground recipe, not as preposterously expensive as some of the most extravagant, but not particularly cheap, either. It takes Salt, Vegetable Oil, Uncommon Fish Oil, and either a Sea Crab Nipper or three Hermit Crab Tails.

5Honey Sponge Cake

Health/Mana Recovery 500 per second | 18 seconds

The Honey Sponge Cake is a great little snack to keep around; its bonus isn’t going to help you for too long, but it can be great in a pinch and a great way to accentuate some of your other healing/mana restoration items. The Honey Sponge Cakeincreases your health and mana recovery both by 500 per second for 18 seconds.

While this might not seem like a long time, it’s a tremendous increase, and you’re going to notice whatever bar you’re looking at getting much more positive-looking very quickly. This is a great snack to slam down during a tough fight before the going gets too rough; it might keep it from getting too rough. This only takes a Healthy Milk and a Honey Rye Cookie to make.

4Purification Remedy

Remove Bind, Silence, Sleep, or Stun

Some fights are going to see more use of this than others; but the fact always remains that if you’re stunned in one way or another, you are not being productive or helpful to anyone around you. This is an annoyance as a damage-dealer but catastrophic as a defensive or supporting character. The Purification Remedyremoves Bind, Silence, Sleep, or Stun upon use, making that problem go away quickly.

This is another creation that isn’t too involved to make, either. It requires Quality Stalon Ore, an Abyssal Aggregate, and a Rare Natural Essense to create. This is a one-time use item, so you’ll need to use one for each stun; it doesn’t prevent you from becoming stunned in the first place.

3Poultry And Shiitake Mushroom Stir-Fry

Skill Heal 2.5% | Mana Cost Efficiency 4% | 15-60 Mins

The Poultry and Shiitake Mushroom Stir Fry is a great complimentary dish to the Vienta-Style Seafood Fritters, just meant for the other end of that purpose. Instead of increasing incoming healing, this dishincreases the potency of healing effects by 2.5 percent, as well asincreases their Mana Cost Efficiency by four percent for 15-60 minutes.

This is a great dish for healers to keep on hand and is another one that doesn’t have a jaw-dropping cost, either. It takes Curry Powder, Vegetable Oil, Shiitake Mushroom, and three Terror Bird Meat.

2Scorpion Tail Fritters

Movement Speed 3.5% | Attack Speed 3% | 15-60 Mins

The Scorpion Tail Fritters is one of the best damage-dealing dishes out there, but it’s especially useful for those damage-dealers usingquicker-hitting weapons, like Daggers. The Scorpion Tail Frittersincrease Movement Speed by 3.5 percent, and most importantly, increase Attack Speed by three percent, for 15-60 minutes.

Weapons that already hit fast and characters that have been built to crit often are going to see the biggest increase from this, but a boost is a boost, however much it is. This only takes Salt, Vegetable Oil, Uncommon Fish Oil, and a Scorpion Tail to make, so it won’t break your bank.

1Dawn Crab Platter

All Evasion 70 | Skill Damage Resistance 40 | All CC Resistance 40 | 15-60 Mins

Evasion is a very convenient perk to have, and while it isn’t quite the beast that some other defensive perks are, it can make a big difference, especially with a little bit of luck. The Dawn Crab Platterincreases all Evasion stats by 70, as well asSkill Damage Resistance and CC Resistance by 40 each for 15-60 minutes.

All in all, this is a great defensive-minded dish, and it only takes Uncommon Fish Oil, Wine, Milk, Saffron, and a Sea Crab Nipper to cook, giving it a nice little bit of bang for your food-buck.
