Throne and Libertyhas an abundance of gear sets to grind for and collect, each set coming with its own unique bonuses for wearing multiple pieces of gear at the same time. Each of these gear sets is going to be collected/crafted in slightly different ways, and you’ll usually need to grind for the exact set you’re looking to get if you want it in any reasonable amount of time.

Each of these sets is tailored towards a specific style of play or build, and equipping the right set can make a tremendous difference in your efficacy, while equipping the wrong set will do nothing to help you succeed.

10Abyss Slayer - Damage

Max Damage, Critical Hits, And Healing

The Abyss Slayer Gear Set is definitely tilted towards being a Damage Dealer’s set, and a bit of a specific kind of Damage Dealer, at that. The two-piece bonus for this set increases your Max Damage by 20, and the four-piece bonus increases your Critical Hit by 100, while increasing your health by five percent for damage dealt with crits.

Quicker-hitting weapons are going to make the most of this, weapons like the Crossbow and Daggers in particular. You’ll get more out of that Max Damage increase the more often you hit, and you’ll be critical hitting more often with these, as well.

9Forgotten Assassin - Any

Group Endurance And Evasion

The Forgotten Assassin Gear Set could theoretically be useful for any variety of characters; it buffs anybody inside of its radius with the same effect(s), and that effect is equal parts offensive and defensive, buffing both Evasion and Critical Hit by 110.

In general, most support players are going to be using this, whether they’re straight Healer or more of a hybrid build. This is going to help quite a few party members at the same time, and in a variety of ways, lending itself mostly towards that kind of a build.

8Wing Gale - Damage

Ranged Critical Damage

The Wing Gale Gear Set is definitely a damage-centric set, specifically geared towards Damage Dealers that keep a significant range from their target. It increases Critical Hit by 200, Critical Damage by 15 percent, and further increases that damage by one percent for every meter you are from the target, up to 40 percent.

This worksbest for Longbowand Crossbow, which both have passive abilities that give increases for keeping a distance from your target. It could also work well with the Staff or the Wand and Tome, though that’s usually more of a support-type weapon.

7Transcended One - Healer

Cooldown Speed And Heal Potency

The first definitely Healer Gear Set in this list is the Transcended One set. This one decreases Cooldown Speed by 7.5 percent, which is going to help you to get your healing skills off more often, and increases Skill Heal by 25 percent, providing a substantial increase in healing potency.

The Transcended One is going to make a tremendous difference in your healing ability, regardless of the healing build that you’ve got going for you. It’s a flat upgrade in everything that a Healer needs to accomplish, making you a bigger asset to your party.

6Oracle Priest - Healer or Tank

Group Defense And Incoming Healing

There’s an argument to be made that this can be used for either a Healer or a Tank, but in general, it’s going to bemore beneficial for the latter. This increases all Defenses by 200 not only for yourself, but every party member in range. On top of that, it increases incoming healing by ten percent for yourself and party members in range.

While this could be beneficial for a Healer as well; incoming healing is not as important for yourself, but it would benefit your teammates in range. It’s going to be more impactful for a Tank because the Tank is not only going to be taking the majority of the damage, but so are the other characters closer to the Tank. This class is sure to have the right radius around them for this bonus, and the Healer might not.

5Death - Damage

Critical Damage And Attack Speed

The Death Gear Set is going to improve your damage-producing capabilities, and is definitely suited for a Damage Dealer. This increases Critical Damage by 21 percent, and increases Attack Speed by ten percent.

This Critical Damage increase does not apply when you’ve got another Critical Damage bonus applying from another piece of gear.

Both of these bonuses are going to make a tremendous difference; the Critical Damage is going to increase the potency of your crits, while the Attack Speed bonus is going to be a flat damage-per-second (DPS) upgrade.

4Palace Guard - Tank Sword and Shield

Block Chance And Critical Hit Reduction

The Palace Guard Gear Set is not only just for Tanks, it’s for those making use of one specific weapon type: the Sword and Shield. This increases Shield Block Chance by eight percent, as well as adding another two percent on top of that for each Shield Block that actually happens, up to a maximum of 18 percent. It also increases Critical Hit Reduction by 25 percent.

This is going to make a big difference in your survivability over time. It might not seem like a big difference in a short span, but with and without this gear and fighting the same enemy, your health is going to look a lot different after 15 or 20 seconds.

3World Tree - Healer

Max Mana And Mana Regen

The World Tree Gear Set is definitely fantastic for a Healer, increasing Max Mana and Mana Regen by 1,500 and 50 respectively, while also increasing Cooldown Speed by one percent per 1,000 Mana, to a maximum of 20 percent.

This certainly could be beneficial for either a Damage Dealer, but it’s going to see the most use for a Healer. A Damage Dealer would be missing out on more impactful bonuses, and a Healer is going to massively benefit in how often they can pump out heals with this.

2Imperial Tracker - Damage

Critical Damage For Quick Hitters

The Imperial Tracker Gear Set is a fantastic Damage Dealer set, increasing Critical Damage by one percent at first, but increasing that Critical Damage by another 15 percent every time you Critically Hit an enemy. This bonus lasts for 12 seconds, and stacks up to ten times.

This is going to be great for any Damage Dealer, but is going to see the most use with eithera Crossbow buildor a Dagger build; any weapon, really, that hits fast. These weapons are going to max out that Critical Damage boost quicker, and so get a little more out of it.

1Wraith Knight - Tank

Max Health And Heavy Melee

The Wraith Knight Gear Set is a truly fantastic Gear Set for a Tank, increasing Max Health by 2,000 overall, and increasing Melee Heavy Attack Chance by 12 for every 1,000 Max Health you’ve got, up to a limit of 240 additional chance.

Whether you’re running a Sword and Shield Tank build or a Greatsword Tank build, this is going to make a tremendous difference. You’re going to have a lot more health to play with, and be landing those Heavy Attacks much more often.
