Heroes work a little differently in EA FC 25, as they receive an initial version that can later be upgraded, thus making theselive cards of a sort.
While he’s a jack-of-all-trades and master-of-none type of player, Maicon can improve any squad that doesn’t have a standout star on the right side of its defense.
After taking a year out of the spotlight following a dynamic year in 2023, Al Owairan returns with one of the fastest cards in Ultimate Team. 94 Pace blows most other players out of the water and makes Saeed the fastest Hero on the list.
Although his 85 rating seems unimpressive, Al Owairan’s most important offensive attributes are great, with Pace, Shooting, and Dribbling all at respectable numbers. One of this card’s greatest strengths is the flexible positions, as you candeploy Al Owairan as an RW, RM, CAM, or striker.
Yaya Toure is one of the best midfielders to ever play in the Premier League, and even his base Hero card offers an impressive attribute spread.
Ramires was also in contention for one of the best Heroes in EA FC 25, but his similarities to Yaya Toure make him redundant.
However,Ramires is still a suitable replacement for Yayain almost every way but doesn’t offer the same offensive abilities.
Toure’s Incisive Pass PlayStyle Plus makes him one of themost dangerous passers in a defensive midfield role.However, Yaya’s best quality is his physicality, as he often dispossesses opponents and maintains possession on his own by putting his strength to work.
Paulo Futre might not have the most spectacular weak foot, but his card has improved from last year, with an 88 rating as the major difference, along with strong attributes to support it.Futre boasts a rapid 93 Pace and equal Dribbling,making him incredibly elusive with the ball.
Combine Futre’s attributes with his Technical PlayStyle Plus to become one of the most slippery players you can find. If you enjoy making opponents miss tackles and lose their footing, Paulo Futre will be the best Hero card you can use in EA FC 25.

Vincent Kompany’s intimidating combination of size, Pace, defensive abilities, and physicality makes him one of the best defenders in Premier League history. Kompany enhances his real-world achievements with virtual success as one of thebest defenders in EA FC 25.
A 90 in Defense is an incredibly high attribute to have, especially early in the game cycle – though another superb Hero can rival all of Kompany’s best qualities, exceeding his defensive prowess.

Wesley Sneijder is undoubtedlyone of the best attacking midfielders in the game,boasting an impressive attribute line that’s only exceeded by his sublime in-game performance. Sneijder’s Incisive Pass PlayStyle Plus can be put to even better use than Yaya’s, withSneijder boasting a phenomenal 90 Passing.
If you need someone who can pull the strings for you and dictate the pace of the game from the midfield, then Wesley Sneijder is easily one of the best options on offense and is the perfect pairing with Yaya’s unparalleled defensive abilities.
Lucio is back to reclaim his rightful place as the best defensive Hero card in EA FC 25, surpassing Kompany’s 90/86 Defense/Physical Split, with 91 and 89 totals in his respective categories.
While the total of four extra attribute points isn’t the biggest difference,Lucio’s body type and Block PlayStyle Plus help to match Kompany’s Anticipate.
While it will ultimately be a matter of preference to choose between Kompany and Lucio, the latter boasts notable improvements in key attributes while also boasting more Pace to help him chase down the fastest attackers.
