Range and attachment options drastically limit this weapon’s versatility in many loadouts, but those who master the JAK Lance Kit can get some easy multikills in core Multiplayer. How To Unlock The JAK Lance Kit
You can unlock the JAK Lance through thesecond set of weekly challenges in Season 6.There are 21 challenges in the second set of challenges. Complete any five of them, and you’ll unlock the JAK Lance Kit for the MX Guardian shotgun. You can obtain this shotgun throughArmory Unlocksif you don’t own it.
The Best JAK Lance Build
TheJAK Lance Kitconverts the MX Guardian into a close-range sniper rifle. Your shots will one-tap anywhere in the body, but you have an abysmal projectile velocity stat of 110 m/s. Fighting up close is required to get any kills. That’s why we configured this build forADS speed and mobility.
Your best mobility attachment is theJAK Slashunderbarrel, which gives you a solid boost to your sprint speed and vertical recoil. We then run theMX DCP-0stock for added mobility and theKimaru RYL33 Laser Lightto boost our ADS speed. With all four attachments, you’re looking at an ADS time of 194ms.
We don’t use a fifth attachment on this build. All of your muzzle options have noticeable downsides, and every optic strangely sets your ADS speed to 300ms, a 50% ADS nerf for this build. Leave the final attachment blank until the optics slot get fixed.
Loadout Recommendations
This weapon has a pitiful ammo reserve by default, so we recommend using theModular Assault Rigto increase your ammo capacity. For perks, use Running Sneakers and Commando Gloves to eliminate sprint-to-fire delays,Compression Plate for fast healing after a kill, and Ghost to stay off enemy radar while moving.
