Summary
InDeadlock, the third-person MOBA developed byValve Software, the map is divided up into several distinct sections, each with its own theme and purpose. These main sections are called lanes, and these lanes are where most of the action happens.
Enemies will spawn into the lanes, and each is assigned initially to one or two players on both teams. Which team wins a game of Deadlock largely comes down to which team can best control their respective lanes, and some heroes are better at the head-on confrontations necessary to take control of a lane than others.
7Haze
DPS And Stealth
As Haze, you’ll use stealth and the element of surprise to take down your foes. With the ability to stun enemies using her Sleep Dagger ability, Haze can shut down an offense before moving in for the kill. This ability can be used while invisible, a status which Haze can achieve with the ability Smoke Bomb.
The more Haze attacks an enemy, the more damage she will do to them. This is due to her Fixation ability. In the right hands, Haze can melt through opponents and take the lane uncontested.
6Bebop
Offensive Versitility
The strength of Bebop is the versatility of his tool set, and the ease with which he can make the best use of his abilities. Each of them can be used in conjunction and used in creative ways to overwhelm the enemy.
His Hook, Sticky Bomb, and Uppercut abilities are all potent tools that can be used in unexpected ways. In this way you can keep your enemy completely disoriented, making them easy targets for you or anyone else. In a pinch, his Hyper Beam ability can make short work of anything unlucky enough to be caught inside.
5Wraith
Single Target Combat
Wraith excels in encounters where she faces off against single foes. Once she gains the advantage, she can be hard to counter in situations that favor her. In the right hands, Wraith is a formidable fighter who can keep enemies locked down, jumping in and out of combat with the use of her teleport.
This can also be used to make a quick escape from situations where Wraith may be overwhelmed or outgunned. Once she has taken the advantage, a good Wraith can be difficult to keep up with.
4McGinnis
Area Denial
With hervast arsenal of tools, McGinnis can at once push back and keep the pressure on entire groups of enemies. Her Spectral Wall ability can be used to redefine the battlefield in her favor, sealing off sections of the map or forcing the enemy team into positions more favorable for her.
Her Mini Turret can fortify an area or form the backbone of her offense, giving her more ability to exert control over a greater area. Finally, she can keep the rest of her teammates in fighting condition with the use of her Medicinal Specter, making her effective alone or in a group.
3Lady Geist
High Risk Offense
Lady Geist relies on her ability to make her own health into a weapon. Almost all of her abilities revolve around this to some extent, either costing some health to use or draining it from the enemy in some way.
In this way, Lady Geist is a high-risk, high-reward hero. Smart use of her ability can drain your enemies of their health before they realize what is happening, but it’s important not to overextend. This makes her more technical than some of the other, simpler heroes.
2Viscous
Supportive Tank
Viscous is a hero with greater depth than it may first appear. The combination of high survival skills with some hard-hitting attacks makes them a force to be reckoned with, equal partstank and support.
With some creativity, Viscous has an answer to almost any situation the game can throw at them. If you need to heal somebody, put them in The Cube. If you need an enemy gone, send them flying with a Puddle Punch. These deceptively simple abilities become more useful the more of Viscous you play.
1Kelvin
Healing And Moblility
Kelvin is agreat pick for new players, and is always useful to their team. The combination of high mobility with the ability to heal teammates means it’s never a bad choice to play Kelvin, and his Arctic Beam ability can be a powerful offensive tool.
Kelvin can quickly get around the map using his Ice Path ability, enabling him to attack enemies from unexpected angles. His Frozen Shelter can act as a shield, or trap foes and make them easier targets. His attacks might be slower than other heroes, but his abilities more than make up for this.
