Summary
If you want to improve your combat abilities a lot more, you will definitely be unlocking a lot of Perks inEnotria: The Last Song. These boosts you want on your avatar, depends on the rest of your Loadout, but there are many that are useful in all sorts of builds.
There are four categories in the Path of Innovator, and each of them enhances the abilities of the main virtue that you have chosen to follow and the one you will be leveling up the most. Equipping the Perks you have obtained will give you certain buffs that will make the tough battles ahead much easier.
10Preparedness
Unravelling is the core of any battle in Enotria, as once you fill up the bar, the opponent becomes Unravelled and will be vulnerable to damage. You will also be able to land more finishing attacks that significantly damage an enemy.
The Preparedness Perk will unravel the enemy to a small amount when you perform successful dodges during combat. You will be dodging more often in boss battles and getting them unravelled faster will let you beat them easily.
9Layer Of Thorns
If you want to be a double-edged sword, or in this case The Maskless One, the Layer of Thorns Perk will help you achieve that. Every time an opponent hits you with a melee attack, they won’t leave unscathed and will receive some Physical damage from your Thorny self.
This Perk isn’t very helpful in boss battles, as you definitely shouldn’t go out of your way to receive damage from them. They will kill you faster considering their strong attacks. You are better off equipping it when you are beating regular mobs.
8Stalwart Duelist
Parrying will remain your main focus in any battle in Enotria: The Last Song, and it becomes even better when you get more benefits out of it. If you have the Stalwart Duelist Perk equipped, you will be able to recover a lot of your lost health every time you trigger a perfect parry.
Perfect parrying is hard, and it will require a lot of practice on your end, but you will eventually find yourself triggering it a lot more, especially when you get more used to the combat.
Stalwart Duelist will work even better when your health is low, which might save you from a bind.
7Danza De Spada
This Perk is particularly helpful for early-game builds, considering that Mask of Change is the first mask you will obtain in the game. Danza De Spada increases the damage dealt with heavy attacks as you keep hitting the enemies with those lighter ones.
You will be hitting the enemies more often with Light attacks, which will boost the damage of heavy attacks considerably. This is especially so if you have the Mask of Change equipped, which will further buff up the overall damage dealt. You can pummel opponents easily with your sheer strength.
6Farsighted
If you are running a Battlemage build for your Enotria playthrough, you will be casting Mask Lines repeatedly, and you need Perks that will help you with their usage. The Far-Sighted perk contributes to increasing your Ardore power, which can damage enemies greatly when you cast Lines.
The perk only works when you cast ranged Lines, so it’s only viable for your ranged builds. It will particularly work well with the Piercing Wit Mask that further buffs up the damage dealt by them. To use Mask Lines repeatedly, you need to charge them quickly and Farsighted also helps you with that.
5State Of Harmony
If you prefer to rely on inflicting status effects and dealing more Elemental damage, then you should definitely have this Perk unlocked. If a Mask Line infuses your weapon with any element, it will last for a longer time if you have the State of Harmony Perk equipped.
After you cast a Mask Line, the elemental infusion on weapons does not last very long, and recharging a Line can be tedious considering you need to do a lot more attacks for that. So, the perk is definitely helpful if you are going for an Elementalist build.
4Inner Might
At particular times during your battles, you will find yourself using a charged-up Mask Line, but it fails to hit an opponent because they interrupted you while you were trying to cast it. It can be extremely frustrating, and before you throw your controller in a fit of rage, you might want to consider unlocking the Inner Might Perk.
The Inner Might Perk lets you salvage some of that charged-up Mask Line energy you just lost. While it might not be much, you should still be grateful that you got some of that back, and now you will be able to re-charge it faster. However, do note that it can only be used once for every Line you cast in battle.
If you unlock this Perk, you will be able to unlock the Greater Inner Might Perk in the same branch which boosts your defense against physical attacks and gives you a super armour for a short time.
3Path Of Trickery
You will rely a lot on Finishing attacks as they are quite impactful, especially during boss battles. By unlocking the Path of Trickery Perk, you can increase the damage dealt by them to a greater level, which will let you significantly deplete an enemy’s health. This will also save you from the efforts of having to unravel your opponent repeatedly.
The Path of Trickery Perk will also aid you if you are running an Elementalist build, as it increases your Status Power, which will help you while inflicting various status effects on opponents. You can use this Perk efficiently by parrying enemies to unravel them and then hitting them with a finishing attack while your weapon is infused with an element.
2Astral Walk
Charging up Mask Lines is something you will be concerned with the most, especially if your build depends on it. A lot of those charge up really slowly, and you might just finish the boss fight faster than they are ready to cast. The Astral Walk Perk will let you charge them up much faster.
To activate the Perk’s effect, you need to successfully dodge an attack, which isn’t as harder as parrying attacks. In fact, you might find yourself do it quite often in boss battles. So, you will be able to use your equipped Lines faster if you have this Perk equipped.
1Inner Abundance
The Inner Abundance Perk provides additional healing to your character during battles every time you use a Mask Line. While, this isn’t as efficient as healing Ambers, it’s still helpful as you need all the healing you’re able to get considering you lose a lot of health during boss battles.
You have a few Armonia Ambers in your possesion that you can use to heal your character during combat, While you can expand it for more healing, the healing in the game is still very limited and that’s where this perk comes in to save the day.
