After finishing the main story in Penacony, the trailblazers returned to the Xianzhou Luofu for the Wardance celebration inHonkai: Star Rail. Soon after landing on the Luofu, you meet various new characters, with Lingsha being one of them. She takes up the role of the new Cauldron Master of the Alchemy Commission.

You also see her as a playable limited five-star unit with the Fire combat type and Abundance path soon after. While Lingsha is already phenomenal at keeping the team alive, she can do a lot more than that if placed in the right compositions.

Ruan Mei

Support

If you’ve gone through Lingsha’s kit even once, you won’t be surprised to learn that you’ll get the most value from her when she’s placed in a Break-based team. While these teams already started appearing since Ruan Mei’s release, they didn’t come to the meta untilcharacters like Harmony Trailblazer, Boothill, and Firefly were released.

The first character among these three is also the reason for Lingsha’s increased value in this team. As you might already know, Lingsha can get increased ATK and Outgoing Healing based on her Break Effect, and she can also increase the entire party’s Break DMG dealt to all the enemies on the field with her Ultimate.

Other than these buffs, Lingsha is also fantastic for breaking the enemy’s Toughness due toher Skill, Ultimate, and follow-up all having AoE damage.

This leads to a situation where you can not only remove the enemy’s weakness in the first few attacks butalso deal massive damage to them even when Lingsha performs an attack. Firefly works as the best main DPS for this team since she can apply Fire Weakness on the enemy and also have AoE Toughness damage.

When you have this team fully built, you’ll commonly seeFirefly dealing over 500,000 damage while Lingsha easily dealing over 100,000with each attack as well. As long as the enemy doesn’t hide its own weakness, there’s nothing that can stop this team from carrying you through every endgame mode.

Robin

Sub-DPS/Support

Not everyone can have the characters required for the Break-based team for Lingsha, and the follow-up team comes close in the second position. This is one of the most intuitive teams for this character since she also has a follow-up attack that can be triggered quite consistently with the movement advance from her Skill and Ultimate.

This team will mostly rely on single-target damage, which is the complete opposite of her Break-based team. It performs best when you’re fighting against Elite enemies that don’t have any summon abilitiesin Memory of Chaos. You’ll be relying on Feixiao to deal most of the damage here, with Topaz and Robin helping her.

While Robin is mostly a buffer for the team, she can dealquite a significant amount of damage during her Ultimate, making her a sub-DPS as well.

For this team, you’d want to use the Broken Keel set on Lingsha to get some extra Crit DMG. Moreover,Robin should have a 100 percent uptime heresince you’re able to trigger quite a lot of follow-up attacks. Once you meet these two conditions andbuild both Feixiaoand Topaz, you’re good to go.

Pela

With Jiaoqiu’s release giving a significant boost to Acheron’s battle abilities, this team serves as thelast one where Lingsha can get significantly high value. This is mostly due to the Befog effect applied by her Ultimate, which counts as a Debuff for Acheron to get an extra stack. Her high Toughness DMG can also be a source of debuffs for this team.

With Jiaoqiu’s constant debuff application and Lingsha, you canessentially get Acheron’s Ultimate every turn, if not twice a turn in some cases. This team doesn’t have any Skill Point problems either since you can use Pela’s and Jiaoqiu’s Basic Attack quite commonly.

Lingsha canstill be used in any other team as a healer, but these teams get value from her outside of that.
