Summary

Teams rated three stars inEA Sports FC 25are middle-of-the-road clubs. They don’t contain squads filled withthe best players in the game, nor do they typically have the money to buy them. They also aren’t usually the top teams in their country, nor are they expected to win the big prizes. Yet, they have solid foundations on which you’re able to build a successful team.

Therefore, these types of teams make for great career modes, as you likely won’t achieve instant success. You will have to put some time in and slowly build your team up, which makes the eventual achievements all the more fulfilling. Here are the three-star teams that make for the most enjoyable career modes.

There is one very famous team in Paris, and it’s not Paris FC. It’s, of course, Paris Saint-Germain, which wins Ligue One almost every year and has some of the best players in France.

However, who says that Paris isn’t big enough for two heavyweight clubs? Bringing Paris FC to that level should be the goal in this career mode. It will take some time, as Paris FC starts in the second division of France and has a fairly unimpressive squad. Yet, it shouldn’t take you too long to get out of the second tier and start to build.

At one time, Schalke was one of the best and most exciting teams in Germany. Yet, the club has fallen on some hard times in recent years. So, they’re now in Bundesliga 2 and are only rated three stars. The bright side is that these are all necessary ingredients for an excellentrebuild save in career mode.

You can bring the club back to the top of Germany and have them rub shoulders with the likes of Bayern Munich and their most hated rival, Borussia Dortmund, once again. Your starting squad may be enough to compete at the top of Bundesliga 2, but you will need to improve it over time to thrive in the Bundesliga.

From 2007 to 2017, Basel was the most dominant club in Switzerland. Things have changed in recent years, though, and Young Boys have become the top team in the country. As such, Basel hasn’t won the league in a while. Yet, the club remains among Switzerland’s best.

EA Sports FC 25 Jobe Bellingham stood on the pitch.

Therefore, you have a good chance of reclaiming your status as the most dominant team in the country. To do so, you may need to build a better squad. It’s nice that you have Xherdan Shaqiri on the books, but you may need a bit more to usurp Young Boys.

When people talk about Scottish football, they always mention Celtic and Rangers, as they have been the top two teams in Scotland for many years. Scottish football doesn’t have to just revolve around two teams, though. Hearts are one of the best options to break that duopoly, which is why the club is a good option for a career mode.

Stopping those two team’s dominance should be your target. To do that, you have Lawrence Shankland up front, who is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Prem. He’s not that quick, though, and neither are most of your other players. So, adding some pacey players is a must.

Sunderland used to be a regular in the Premier League, but the club hasn’t been in that competition since the 2016-2017 season. If you take over as manager, that would have to be the first goal to achieve. The club begins in the Championship, so it isn’t the longest climb to make, but they don’t start with a huge budget or the most impressive squad.

You do, however, have the less celebrated but still highly talented Bellingham brother, Jobe. He begins with solid attributes and has plenty of potential to grow into one ofthe better attacking midfielders in the game. Also, if you want to create an emotional connection with the club, you’re able to watch the excellent Sunderland ‘Til I Die documentary on Netflix.

Newell’s Old Boys isn’t the most famous football club in the world, but it does have an incredible legacy. This is because two of the greatest players of all time have a connection to the club. Diego Maradona had a brief spell at Newell’s in the latter part of his career, while Lionel Messi was part of the club’s youth system near the start of his career. Also, plenty of other iconic players got their start at Newell’s Old Boys.

However, for a club with such a legacy, it hasn’t been very successful. River Plate and Boca Juniors are the biggest clubs in Argentina, so your job in this career mode is to knock them off their perches. You have the aging but still brilliant Ever Banega to help you do that.

$30.1 million

Typically, in career mode, your team’s board has various expectations. Some may demand domestic success, while others might want you to boost the club’s brand. The Charlotte FC board seems to not really have any expectations. This is because each expectation category is listed as ‘very low.’

Therefore, as Charlotte FC manager, you don’t have much pressure on you at the start. What you do start with, though, is one of the biggest transfer budgets in the league and an average squad you can build on. This means earning the club its first-ever piece of silverware is possible, as is creating a new heavyweight in the MLS.

How would you feel about having Tom Brady as a boss? Okay, he wouldn’t really be your main boss if you chose to manage Birmingham City, as he’s only a minority owner of the club. Still, though, his involvement has given the club more attention recently. And despite only being in League One, they’re a club on the up.

You can continue that rise by making use of your significant transfer budget, which is much higher than any other team in the league. The club also has the best squad in League One, with the likes of Tomoki Iwata, Krystian Bielik, and more. That said, you will have improve the team once you start going up the leagues.
