The Dragon Ball movies have introduced some of the most memorable and powerful villains in the franchise, many of whom have become fan-favorites over the years. InDragon Ball: Sparking Zero, these movie villains bring a unique flavor to the roster, with devastating abilities and iconic moves.

From the chaotic destruction of Super Janemba to Broly’s raw, unstoppable power, each villain offers something different in terms of gameplay. We’ve selected the ones that are either the most memorable from the Dragon Ball universe, or the ones whose moveset is fun to use in the game.

7Super Garlic Jr.

Immortality Without Style

Super Garlic Jr., the immortal villain from Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone, might have a cool backstory and the ability to survive any attack, but in Sparking Zero, he falls short when compared to other movie villains. His moveset revolves around dark energy attacks and using the Dead Zone portal to trap enemies, but he lacks the sheer power and speed of higher-ranked villains.

What pushes him down to the bottom of the list is his somewhat boring design, since bulky villains are a dime of a dozen. What allows him to be on this list at all, is how good all his special moves look, particularly his Dead Zone ultimate.

6Hirudegarn

A Colossal Threat

Hirudegarn, the towering monster from Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon, is a massive, destructive force in Sparking Zero. His sheer size gives him incredible reach and devastating attacks, making him a terrifying opponent in battle, not to mention immunity to grabs and most rush attacks.

However, Hirudegarn’s biggest weakness is his lack of speed. His lumbering movements make him easy to predict and counter, and while his powerful strikes can deal huge damage, he’s often too slow to land them effectively against faster characters.

5Full-Power Bojack

A Ruthless Galactic Threat

Bojack, the leader of the Galaxy Soldiers, becomes even more dangerous in his full-power form from Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound. In Sparking Zero, Full-Power Bojack combines physical strength with devastating energy attacks, making him a versatile fighter.

His ultimate move, Grand Smasher, is what makes him appear on the list. Much like Garlic Jr., Bojack lacks originality, but his design and the brutality of his ultimate move make him someone worth mastering; that way, you get to finish off your enemies with the same style.

4Turles

An Evil Goku Before Goku Black

Turles, the villain from Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might, brings a (at the time) unique twist to the Dragon Ball roster as an evil counterpart to Goku. In Sparking Zero, Turles combines strong melee attacks with powerful energy blasts, and his Kill Driver move can deal significant damage from a distance.

His ability to eat the fruit from the Tree of Might further enhances his power mid-battle, making him a dangerous and strategic fighter. And we can’t forget to mention that this Saiyan hasthe most disrespectful ultimateout of the entire roster of Sparking Zero.

3Broly (Z)

The Legendary Super Saiyan

Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, is one of the most iconic Dragon Ball movie villains, and in Sparking Zero, his Z-era form lives up to his reputation. Broly’s overwhelming physical strength and relentless energy attacks make him a destructive force on the battlefield.

His massive size and brutal combat style allow him to bulldoze through opponents, dealing incredible damage with each hit. You mostly want to stay clear of his first two phases, however; the real fun with Broly starts whenhe achieves Legendary status.

While we are mostly covering villains from the Z era, we also haven’t included the Super variant of Broly because, all things considered, he isn’t really a villain. That Broly has problems controlling himself, while the Z variant enjoys the thrill of battle and destruction.

2Cooler

Nothing Like His Brother

Cooler, the older brother of Frieza, is a cold and calculating villain who surpasses his sibling in terms of raw power, at least when it comes to the Z era. In Sparking Zero, Cooler’s final form gives him access to powerful energy blasts and a versatile moveset that includes both strong melee and ranged attacks.

His Supernova ultimate attack is devastating, capable of wiping out opponents in an instant if used correctly. And if you’re able to’t get enough of Cooler, you can fill your team with his Metal variants and feel very cool when doing so.

1Super Janemba

Chaotic, Unpredictable, And With Unique Animations

Taking the top spot is Super Janemba, the villain from Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. In Sparking Zero, Super Janemba combines speed, unpredictability, and sheer power to become one of the most dangerous fighters in the game.

His unique ability to manipulate reality allows him to teleport and warp around the battlefield, keeping opponents on their toes. That’s something thatother fighters like Gokucan already do, but the animation work on Janemba makes him finally feel distinct, embodying the techniques of his movie counterpart.

Curiously, Janemba starts off as a giant character, being able to transform into this smaller form during the fight, but losing health when he does so. If you plan to main the best movie villain from Dragon Ball, be sure to pick his already smaller version.
