The Crew 2 Beats Concurrent Player Count Record Set In June 2021
Over the past 24 hours, the news of an offline mode anda huge 98% discount, which sees the game available for $1/£0.84, has caused a massive rush of players to The Crew 2.
According toSteam Charts, the game has 22,675 players playing right now, a record high for both the title and the series. This number eclipses the game’s previous record, which was set in June 2021, in which a maximum of 12,707 players were in the game at a single time. When the game launched in July 2018, a maximum of 6,019 players were playing the game, making these numbers doubly impressive.
The series record to this point was the 12,707 players set by The Crew 2 in June 2021; however, the original title came close with12,236 concurrent players in December 2014.
The Crew Motorfestis a relative minnow compared to the two numbered games in the series, with apeak concurrent player record of 1,164. However, the game has still seen somewhat of a resurgence, with its highest player count since its April 2024 release.
