Nintendoappeared to be calling it a day on theamiibofront after releasing its Sora figure and completing theSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatecollection. However, it has continued to show love for its interactive figures sincevia the release of some new Splatoon 3 amiibo, and by giving owners of previously released figures reasons to dust them off. Not all new games that could have had amiibo functionality onNintendo Switchdo, butThe Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, possibly one of the last big games released exclusively on Switch, does.
There was a hope that Echoes Of Wisdom might get some amiibo of its own. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened, but Nintendo has given us the next best thing.28 amiibo from throughout the Zelda series are compatible with Echoes Of Wisdom. Tap them to your Joy-Con and they’ll unlock items and perhaps even an alternative look for Zelda. The trouble is tracking them down if you don’t own them already, and while not all of them have been restocked, some have.Below you’ll find every single Echoes Of Wisdom-compatible amiiboalong with links to where they are still available to buy or might be restocked.
Ganondorf
Amazon,Best Buy,Walmart,GameStop
Tears Of The Kingdomwas actually the last new Switch game to get its own amiibo, and it might stay that way if Nintendo doesn’t have any plans to bring the figures to its next console. Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf all got new figures to coincide with Tears of the Kingdom’s release. Using them in Tears of the Kingdom gets you daily rewards and alternate cloth for your glider, and in Echoes Of Wisdom, they will have a similar effect.
In-game bonuses and alternate looks for Zelda, and even though these amiibo were hard to find on and after Tears of the Kingdom’s launch, they’re pretty easy to find now and are still reasonably priced since they’re less than 18 months old. Check the links above if you want any of these three figures, and while they retail for between $16 and $20, you might have to pay a little more depending on stock levels but shouldn’t be paying any more than $30 for them.
Guardian
Nintendo,Amazon,Best Buy,Walmart,GameStop
As you’re able to see, theBreath Of The Wildamiibo that will get you stuff in Echoes Of Wisdom are a little harder to come by than the Tears Of The Kingdom figures. That’ll happen with accessories for a game that was released more than seven years ago. For some reason, the only Breath Of The Wild amiibo Nintendo reprinted and re-released was the Guardian. The good news is if you don’t already have the Guardian amiibo, you shouldn’t have to pay more than $20 for it since it’s so widely available.
The slightly less positive news, but still not terrible, isall nine of the Breath Of The Wild amiibo that will work with Echoes Of Wisdom are available somewhere, and none of them are more than $40. In fact, most of them are priced between $20 and $30 at Amazon and Walmart, so not wildly expensive. If you’re dead set on owning all of them and want to save a little money, the amiibo for all of the game’s champions are available as a four-packand are currently in stock at the retailers in the box below.
The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Champions Amiibo Pack
Link has four champions accompanying him on his quest in Breath Of The Wild, and those champions all received their own amiibo. It only makes sense that their amiibo be combined into a four-pack so that you can buy them all together rather than individually and risk one or more of them selling out.

There have been discussions about what the best Zelda game is for as long as there has been more than one Zelda game, and those conversations will continue until the end of time and get more complex as more entries in the series are released. Don’t worry, I’m not going to sit here and attempt to tell you Skyward Sword is the best Zelda game ever, but I do think it deserves to be mentioned in these conversations more often than it does.
I’m glad Skyward Sword got a second lease on life when its remaster was released on Nintendo Switch, and I’m pleased to see that it hasn’t been forgotten when Nintendo decided which amiibo will help you on your new journey in Echoes Of Wisdom. Link and Zelda’s Skyward Sword amiibo haven’t been reprinted, but they are both in stock at various retailers. Plus Zelda’s amiibo is one of the more unique figures across all Zelda games as it includes Loftwing.
Wolf Link
Nintendo is so close to making every single The Legend Of Zelda game playable on the Switch, there are just a couple missing, and one of them is Twilight Princess. Frustratingly one of the best Zelda games in a lot of people’s eyes, and it doesn’t really make much sense that a remaster or even just a port hasn’t found its way onto Nintendo’s newest console almost seven years on from its release. But hey, when did anything Nintendo does make sense?
Even though Twilight Princess isn’t yet playable on Switch, the absent Zelda game does have a couple of amiibo. In fact, it has one of my favorite amiibo - Wolf Link. Even better, for some reason Wolf Link appears to be one of the more widely available amiibo ready for Echoes Of Wisdom’s arrival and is even in stock at Nintendo at the time of typing this. Twilight Princess’s regular Link amiibo is a little bit harder to find and thus slightly more expensive, but not by too much.
Toon Link
Walmart
Wind Waker is one of the other big Zelda omissions on the Switch, and since remasters of it and Twilight Princess have been expected for years at this point, the similar art style between Wind Waker and Echoes Of Wisdom had some (myself included) thinking it was finally happening when the trailer for the new Zelda game debuted. Still no sign of a Wind Waker remaster, but at least we have a new use for its amiibo.
The trouble is, Zelda and Toon Link’s Wind Waker amiibo are some of the hardest on this list of 28 to come by. As you can see, the links to stores that have them in stock aren’t exactly plentiful, particularly when it comes to Link. They are out there though, and if you want both, there is a two-pack you can buy at Amazon through the link in the box below. It’s going to cost you, though.
The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker Amiibo Two-Pack
Nintendo gave Link and Zelda cartoon-style makeovers for Wind Waker, and then it turned those designs into amiibo. Amiibo that can not only be used to unlock stuff in Wind Waker, but also in other Zelda games since all the way up to Echoes Of Wisdom.
Link (The Legend Of Zelda)
Four Zelda games are bringing one amiibo each to Echoes Of Wisdom including the very first Zelda game meaning you have a new use for your 8-bit amiibo, or an excuse to buy one. although its availability is limited.Ocarina Of Timeand Majora’s Mask, Zelda games one and two in many fans' rankings, also have an amiibo each which will get you stuff in the latest Zelda game.
While some thought Wind Waker, the majority of people with a knowledge of Zelda would have thought Link’s Awakening when seeing Echoes Of Wisdom for the first time. The art style and Link’s design, in particular, are very similar, so Link’s amiibo from Link’s Awakening not only being functional in Echoes Of Wisdom but also being among the figures to be restocked almost everywhere makes a lot of sense.
Whoa, don’t go anywhere just yet. Even though we have covered every amiibo from a Zelda game that will get you stuff in Echoes Of Wisdom - and where to buy them - Link and the gang have also played a big role in Super Smash Bros. since its inception. Particularly in the Switch installment, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where six characters from the series are playable. Well, three plus three different versions of Link.
Link, Toon Link, and Young Link’s amiibo are all compatible with Echoes Of Wisom, as is Sheik’s figure marking a debut for the character on this list just as we’re about to draw this whole thing to a close. Perhaps if there’s a new Smash on the Switch 2, we’ll get yet another version of Link in the game. Probably not the one from Echoes of Wisdom, but perhaps a Tears of the Kingdom Link complete with his Ultrahand.
