ThePokemon TCG’sScarlet & Violet era marked a major moment in the history of the Pokemon TCG, as interest surged to all-time highs withthe best sets from the Sword & Shield era. While time and low supply are the greatest allies to a set’s value, Pokemon are timeless – unless you’re Miraidon, an embodiment of the future.
Miraidon’s sleek design lends itself to some gorgeous cityscape scenes, as some of its most expensive cards highlight this Pokemon in its natural habitat. The best Miraidon cards aren’t amongthe most expensive cards from the Scarlet & Violet era,but time is on their side, as the box legendary Pokemon usually gather support and increase in value over time.
Cards are ordered according to theirTCGPlayerMarket Price, which you might pay on average for a copy of the cards below.
Updated July 31, 2025, by Andrew Scariati:If you’re looking for the most valuable Miraidon Pokemon card, then you’ve come to the right place, as we’ve compiled Miraidon’s best cards in the Pokemon TCG thus far. While many of Miraidon’s most valuable cards need time to mature as values fluctuate, there’s a bright future ahead for this select few.
6Miraidon Ex: Scarlet & Violet Base Set (Hyper Rare) – $6.77
The First Glance
The Miraidon EX Hyper Rare from the Scarlet & Violet base set is one of the first glimpses we ever received of Miraidon in a TCG setting, debuting with incredible style. The combination of Miraidon’sroyal purple coat and the twinkling golden stars is an elegant matchthat makes this card stand out.
While its value is eclipsed by another card that uses the same stencil design, the color shading couldn’t be more divergent, leaving this card with some spotlight.
Miraidon once enjoyed a solid value in the nine-dollar range, but experienced a massive drop in value during the early stages of 2024, sinking from $9.50 to just over $6.10,relinquishing roughly one-third of its value.Sadly, Miraidon continues to meander in the single digits, but this card may have a massive resurgence one day.
5Miraidon: Scarlet & Violet Promos (Promo) – $12.04
Promos Aplenty
Miraidon’s best cards include some surprisingly nice promos. Considering that this Pokemon’s TCG career is young and it’s already getting multiple promo appearances, there may be more Miraidon to come in the future. However, this valuable Scarlet & Violet card sets the tone for the future that’s to come for Miraidon.
This promo card debuted at around $14 and fell a bit after release, as typically happens with promo cards. However, we’ll need to wait longer to see how this promo’s price chart shakes out, given that it hasn’t had much time to marinate in the market just yet.
4Miraidon Ex: Paldean Fates (Hyper Rare) – $12.80
Another Look
Miraidon’s design catapults it into the conversation asthis valuable card from Paldean Fatesfeatures a teal-and-gold tinge that takes a moment to adjust to. While this card’s stark color choice makes it one that’s likely to divide opinions, its set and rarity support its current price.
Much like the prior Miraidon, this card also suffers frompost-release dropoff:the period after a set’s release where its value decreases as newer sets command more attention.
While Miraidon’s will struggle to stay above $12,this card’s reluctance to stay down is impressive as it’s still clinging to the double digits. This resilience shows that there’s demand for this card, though future Miraidon releases may change that.
3Miraidon Staff Prerelease: Scarlet & Violet Promos (Promo) – $13.26
For A Limited Time Only
Staff Prerelease cards often carry built-in demand given their exclusivity, and as one of the first Miraidon promo card releases, this Temporal Forces-stamped version is likely to maintain interest. This card’s artwork is unusually detailed and striking for the small frame it houses, but it’s a memorable scene that makes the most of its space. The Temporal Forces stampis nice as ithelps to distinguish this cardfrom any further reprints of this art.
Unfortunately, this card still needs time to marinate so we can observe what the market will bear for its value. It expectedly dropped in value from about $25 after it was released, and itcontinues hurtling toward the ten-dollar plateau,as the latest sales show a clear trend from $15 down to the current price, leaving this card with tough days ahead for the short-term.
2Miraidon Ex: Scarlet & Violet Base Set (Special Illustration Rare) – $27.16
Living In Luxury
This Miraidon takes a look inside at a Dachsbun that appears to make itself comfortable in a swanky penthouse suite while Miraidon floats outside the window. This card’s gorgeous background and curious scene that includes a friend along with Miraidon gives itplenty of positive qualities that could lead to its rise in the future.
This card’s price chart touched the $20 mark as Miraidon ex faltered twice on its journey to its current price, dropping to lows below $15. Eventually, Miraidon surged, rebounding to eclipse the important $15 mark and set a new high. The strong demand for this card should continue to fuel its bright future.
1Miraidon: Scarlet & Violet Promos (PC-Exclusive Promo) – $73.30
Looking Ahead
The Pokemon Center Exclusive Miraidon promo takes its place on the throne as the most expensive Miraidon card in the Pokemon TCG, soaring well above its closest competition, leaving no doubt that this card is the most vibrant depiction of Miraidon in the TCG thus far.
However, there aremany sets and new cards ahead for this Pokemonthat will continue to populate its growing list of valuable cards.
This card continues to see plenty of support above $70, as it maintains ample distance between itself and the competition. As Miraidon continues to climb to $75 and eventually eclipses it, this card will solidify itself as one of the best Miraidon cards for the future.
