Normally you would want these ghosts exorcized, but you just might want to keep them around.
Banette cards are not only spooky but can be quite valuable if you find the right printings. There are Prize Card Pack printings that go competitive and shiny versions to brighten your day. Here are the eight most valuable Banette cards in the Pokemon TCG.

8Banette EX Prize Pack $4.03
A Prized Banette
Prize Card Packs contain plenty of cards that have the special Pokemon League symbol somewhere on the card art. This usually gives those cards a nice little rarity bump, since fewer are printed. It also looks gorgeous with the added sparkles and holographic foiling.
Banette EX was originally printed in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet base set. It has two Moves. Everlasting Darkness does 30 damage and shuts down your opponent from using Item cards. Meanwhile, Poltergeist lets you look at your opponent’s hand and deal 60 damage for each Trainer card you find. The Move is not only powerful but tactical as well.
7Banette Power Keepers $4.18
A Spiteful Banette
The Power Keepers set introduced a holographic Banette into the mix. This one has a more traditional holo foiling with the tiny sparkling bubbles surrounding the Pokemon. Luckily, despite being an older card, it is not as expensive as some of the other cards.
This Banette has two Moves and each one feels almost as petty as the last. Don’t make Banette angry, or it will use Grudge. It does 20 base damage with an additional ten for each Prize Card your opponent has taken. Bench Manipulation uses your opponent’s Bench against them by flipping a coin for each Pokemon they have. Then it deals 40 damage times the number of tails.

Getting Cards From Beyond The Grave
Banette GX can be found in thePokemon Sun and Moon Celestial Storm set. These powerful Pokemon often have multiple different rarities that elevate them in price, and the cheapest of the few that still makes it to the top rankings is the full art printing.
This card has a special texture that feels rough to the touch and adds an extra layer of quality to it. Its Ability, Shady Move, lets you move Damage Counters around. Shadow Chant lets you tap into the Supporter cards in your discard pile in order to boost its attack. Tomb Hunt GX also allows you to fetch three cards from your discard pile back into your hand.
5Banette Crystal Guardians $4.39
A Stylized Pokemon Card
Some ofthe best-looking Pokemon cardshave a distinct style to their art. Sometimes you will find 3D clay models of Pokemon, while other times you will find 90s-style 3D renders. The printing of Banette from Crystal Guardians has a pretty backdrop of a crystal cavern as Banette calls out.
This card has protection against the effects of your opponent’s Pokemon EX. It also has one Move that can be troublesome for Basic Pokemon. This is Night Murmurs, and it does 30 damage while also leaving them Confused in the aftermath. After all, what else is a ghost to do but cause confusion and hauntings?
4Banette GX Shiny Vault $5.69
A Premium Banette
The love for Shiny Pokemon will never cease. Players will constantly hunt for them in the wild or attempt to breed the perfect IV Pokemon just to flex at competitions. Shiny Pokemon have been around since the second generation and in the Pokemon TCG, they get special treatment.
This usually means having premium printings in select sets of the card game. This Banette GX is part of theHidden Fate set’s Shiny Vault. It has all the same moves and Abilities as the regular Banette but features a shiny version of the Pokemon as well as a pure white background to make it stand out more in the forefront.
3Banette Hidden Legends $10.31
Covered In Holographic Bubbles
If you love holographic Pokemon cards, then Banette has plenty of those nostalgic bubbles all over the box. This Banette was originally part of the Hidden Legends set and is one of the rare cards that can be pulled.
This is where Banette starts going up in price. It has two Moves. The first is Shadow Steal, which does ten damage and an additional 20 for each Special Energy in your opponent’s discard pile. Darkness Chant would be so much better if it had no cap, but it does a max of 60 damage with one damage counter per Basic or Evolution Pokemon in your discard pile.

A Pot Of Gold At The End Of The Rainbow
Rainbow rare cards are some of therarest cards in the Pokemon TCG. Not only are they difficult to pull, but getting them from the market can result in a hefty fee for one in good condition. This Banette may not be shiny, but it looks great in rainbow foiling.
Like the full art cards, this one has a special texture. You can also tilt it side to side to get a better glimpse at the Pokemon. The good thing about the Pokemon TCG is that sometimes, even the higher rarities are not as expensive as some of the other card games on the market.

The Most Valuable Banette
The most expensive Banette card can be found in the Legend Maker set. This Banette EX has holo foiling on the card art but also the card border. Many of the Pokemon from this set have these little details.
This Pokemon also has some familiar but slightly altered Moves when compared to other Banette printings. Banette’s Poke-Power lets you move one Damage Counter from either player’s Pokemon to another. Shadow Chant does 30 damage plus an additional ten damage for each Supporter card in your discard pile. If you have one of these in good condition, then it could be a nice addition to your collection or an option to sell and make a bit of cash on the side.
