Cinderace is back in the Stellar Crown expansion of thePokemon TCG. With a powerful EX card in the mix, it’s time to take a look back at some of the previous printings of the card. This starter first made its debut in the Galar region as it races toward victory, leaving behind a flaming trail in its wake.

Of course, Cinderace may be only one generation old, but some cards are just too cool to pass over. These include special VMAX cards as well as some cards you can only find in Prize Packs. From full art to rainbow rare printings, these are the eight most valuable Cinderace cards in the Pokemon TCG.

The Beauty of VMAX Cards

VMAX cards have a distinct appearance to them that sets them apart from other GX and EX cards. These cards are meant to depict Pokemon in their Dynamax form, so their art is swirling with Dynamax Energy as they prepare to take on a greater challenge.

Cinderace VMAX can be found inthe Rebel Clash set of the Pokemon TCG. Like other VMAX cards, this one must be played on top of your existing Cinderace. It also has a neat card art feature where the art overlaps most of the card borders. This almost gives it a sweet borderless appearance when looked at from certain angles.

7Cinderace Prize Pack Series $3.00

A Prized Rabbit

Prize Pack cards always hold some sort of value due to their special markings. These cards are usually competitive cards in the meta that get a slight rarity bump for competitors. This particular Cinderace is the same one that can be found inthe Sword and Shield base set. What sets it apart is the special Prize Card stamping on the card.

Its Ability, Libero, is particularly useful since it allows you to take Fire Energy from your Discard Pile and attach it to Cinderace. This is perfect for fueling its Flare Striker Move which does 190 damage but requires you to discard two Energy each time you use it.

6Cinderace Shining Fates $3.75

A Shiny Bunny

Shining Fates is one of the coolest sets in the TCGsince it gives plenty of Pokemon a shiny makeover. While these cards may have stats carried over from previous printings, it’s the card art that makes them special and worth collecting.

The Cinderace from Shining Fates has the same stats as the Cinderace from the base set of Sword and Shield. The main draw towards this card is the distinct card art. Rather than having white fur, Shiny Cinderace has gray fur and is surrounded by the all too familiar shiny sparkles that the shiny Pokemon are known to have when encountered.

5Cinderace V Jumbo Card $3.95

Oversized And Overpowered

There’s always going to be an oversized card thrown into the mix and Cinderace has one that depicts it’s Cinderace V printings. Originally released in Rebel Clash, this version of Cinderace V got an Oversized printing that has the same Moves as its original release but the card art as one of its promo releases.

This card may not be useable in an actual game, but it is still a very nice collector’s item if you like the Scorbunny line. These oversize cards are usually bundled up in special boxes of the Pokemon TCG and some will eventually go up in price depending on the Pokemon depicted and how well you have maintained its condition.

4Cinderace V Full Art $4.21

The Fires Of Cinderace

Another good-looking Cinderace card is Cinderace V’s full art printing from the Rebel Clash set. Seeing as Cinderace is a Fire-type Pokemon, it is only fitting that the background for the card art looks like molten flames being left behind as it dashes forward. After all, this Pokemon is used to outrun others to score the winning goal.

Cinderace V is already a pretty clean-looking card and this one is even better due to the colors used. It also helps that it has a special texture when you touch it and a gray border which looks nicer than the usual yellow.

3Cinderace EX Double Rare Stellar Crown $4.29

Burning With Colors

Cinderace makes a comeback in the Stellar Crown expansion of the Pokemon TCG. This time, however, Cinderace is no longer Dynamaxing but Terastalizing. This gives the card a unique look to it that makes it stunning.

It features Cinderace wearing the Tera Crown as it gives a mighty kick. The card is also oozing with colors that spread from the card art box to the borders. The colors and gem steaks even cover some parts of the text box used to explain the Pokemon Moves. Tera cards just look so good. If you want to collect them, now is the time to do so before they eventually start getting harder to find.

Secret Rare Cinderace Pokemon TCG Card Art.

2Cinderace EX Stellar Crown Ultra Rare $10.10

A Secret Rare Twist

By now, rainbow rare cards are not exactly new to the Pokemon TCG. However, in the Stellar Crown set, some cards which would normally have this rarity, get a small twist to them. This is Cinderace’s secret rare printing which features a Terastalized Cinderace standing tall.

What makes this card unique is that the rainbow foiling is not on the card body but on the card border instead. Combined with the white and the multicolored sparkles that surround Cinderace makes for an excellent card design. If this is the direction that rainbow rares eventually take, then it is a change that will be met with love.
