In the world ofDisney’s Lorcana, you have three different types of characters you can get that don’t depend on deck color or any other classifications. Those are Storyborn, Dreamborn, and Floodborn. With all due respect to the others, Floodborn characters consistently hold all the power.

Does that make them the villains of the Lorcana world? No, and to that point, any character can have a Floodborn card made for them. But, of all of those that fall into that category, which are the most valuable? This list will lay out just that.

This list is based on the average market price shown onTCGPlayer.

10Jafar, Striking Illusionist (Enchanted) - $101.54

Set Three, Into The Inklands

Surprisingly, Jafar isn’t worth more, and he would be personally offended by this. Some players were making waves by having Jafar in their decks and winning games stunningly by making the best use of his ability, Power Beyond Measure.

Opponents were watching as their matches were lost with the combination of Jafar and A Whole New World. Ironically, these cards work so well together. But after questing with Jafar, players would use A Whole New World a time or two, gaining them as much as seven or 14 lore in one fatal swoop.

9Hades, King Of Olympus (Enchanted) - $101.75

Set One, The First Chapter

What if Hercules had failed and Hades would have been allowed to stay King for more than, let’s check the clock, two whole minutes? This card gives you a glimpse of that reality in what is one of the best and first showings of what a Floodborn card is.

Floodborn characters are made to give a new perspective on any of the chosen characters, like Hades as King or giant-sized Tinker Bell.

This Hades works well in a villain-based deck as he gains additional lore he can quest for based on how many villains are on the battlefield. That includes Jafar, Striking Illusionist. If you play it all out right, these two cards could get you to victory pretty quickly.

8Snow White, Well Wisher - $127.83

Set Two, Rise Of The Floodborn

Have you lost a vital character to the dreaded discard pile? This Snow White can help you with that. Whenever you quest with her, Wishes Come True is activated. This allows you to select a character that has been banished and bring them back into your hand.

Aside from the fact that Snow White can resurrect people, if you pair her with some protection, like Ward or Bodyguard, she has a good shot at staying on the board for a while. Not only will this get you back those discarded characters, but also gains you two lore each time she does it.

7Clarabelle, Light On Her Hooves (Enchanted) - $151.91

Set Five, Shimmering Skies

Guess what other card can generate a lot of card draws for you? Clarabelle, Light On Her Hooves, does her best to keep you in step with your foe by having you draw cards until you have the same amount in your hand as your opponent has in theirs.

While she does cost seven to play, you can get her in sooner if you shift to another Clarabelle. In terms of her enchanted artwork, Shimmering Skies changed the appearance of these cards by altering how they present the information, making the ability section much more transparent to show off the art.

6Robin Hood, Champion of Sherwood (Enchanted) - $153.80

Ah, Robin Hood. Isn’t he dreamy furry bait? He certainly is in his enchanted Champion of Sherwood card and that’s one hundred percent a fact. If you can keep him around for a while, he has two different abilities that can turn the tide on your early to mid-game.

Skilled Combatant rewards beating up your opponent’s characters because, in banishing them, you gain two lore. But, when Robin Hood is slain, you will be able to draw a card. Not the biggest trade, but if he’s taken a few folks out with him, he’s got you closer to or further into the lead, doing more than some other cards would in just a couple of rounds.

5Diablo, Devoted Herald (Enchanted) - $154.08

Set Four, Ursula’s Return

Diablo really had the meta shaken by vanquishing a very popular combo, which could be part of the reason why his enchanted card is selling for a pretty hefty dollar amount. It could also be the wicked artwork of this, previously, little-known or sought-after ally of Maleficent’s.

He is staring the whole of Amethyst down as anytime your opponent draws a card, you’re able to also draw a card. The only catch is that Diablo has to be exerted. However, his Evasive traitkeeps him much safer than most as others have to be Evasive as well to try and strike him down.

4Aurora, Dreaming Guardian (Enchanted) - $174.96

Aurora, Dreaming Guardian, is a card that if you set your board upright, creates a nearly impenetrable wall of protection for her allies on the field. Just by being on the board, she gives all of yourother character cards Ward.

Because she doesn’t have to be exerted for this, she can be in a position where other characters can’t issue any challenge against her. Actions andItems can take her outin that case, but not her allies, as Ward keeps them safe from anything that isn’t a challenge.

3Ariel, Sonic Warrior (Enchanted) - $199.13

In a set called Ursula’s Return, maybe it’s a bit surprising that there was such a strong Ariel card, keeping the canon of The Little Mermaid intact and having the young, love-struck girl take down the evil sea witch.

This card works best when paired with many Songs as any time youplay a Song card, you can pay two ink and deal three damage to a character of your choosing. This can help whittle away at cards with a lot of willpower. Or, just in the Aurora example, you can choose the warding princess as your target.

2Tinker Bell, Giant Fairy (Enchanted) - $259.30

This Tinker Bell has been loved since her launch withThe First Chapter in Lorcana. This enchanted artwork is loved too, showing the once tiny fairy picking up the whole of Captain Hook’s ship, making it very clear who’s tiny now.

Similar to how Ariel can deal damage without challenging, Tinker can too as soon as you play her, causing one damage to each of the opponent’s characters. Then, anytime she’s successful in a challenge, she can deal two more damage to any character you choose. She’s pretty and a powerhouse.

1Elsa, Spirit of Winter (Enchanted) - $842.78

This Elsa has always been hundreds of dollars more expensive than any other card in the game, that you can find more organically, that is. She even beats out most of the special D23 cards that commemorate Disney’s live showcase. Maybe it’s the popularity of Frozen? Or the beautiful artwork? Maybe it’s Maybelline? Her hair is gorgeous after all.

Her entrance onto the battlefield is so strong that two opposing characters of your choice will be unable to ready themselves at the start of your opponent’s next turn. That can really shift the tide of the game by either keeping some of your characters safe from challenges or keeping certain abilities from being put into play.
