If you’re ready to fall asleep to some sweet songs, then Jigglypuff is waiting in thePokemon TCG. This Pokemon has a wave of popularity due to the anime as well as its appearance in Super Smash Bros. However, be careful where you take that nap, or you will end up with doodles on your face.
Jigglypuff cards are pretty unique since they’ve been around ever since the first generation of Pokemon. So there are retro collector’s items available as well as printings where the Pokemon TCG tried to shake up the typings of their cards. Here are the eight most valuable Jigglypuff cards you will find on the market.
Card values reflect the market value as seen onTCGPlayer.comand may be subject to fluctuation with time.
8Jigglypuff Neo Destiny $9.51
A Toy Jigglypuff
Neo Destiny is one of the most nostalgic sets of all time. In it, you can find many valuable cards and even the Uncommon Jigglypuff from the set can fetch a semi-decent price. This card features a 3D model instead of a 2D art style. It has a first-edition stamp on the left-hand side.
Jigglypuff has only one Move, which is Expand. This does ten damage while also reducing any damage it takes during the next turn by ten. While this may not be the most impressive stats on a Pokemon, the nostalgia of the card art is able to carry it through the years.
7Mega Lopunny And Jigglypuff GX Full Art $10.69
A Pair Of Showstoppers
Tag Team Pokemon have some of the coolest designs. These cards usually bring together two similar Pokemon who now have to share Moves and a card. In the Cosmic Eclipse set, Jigglypuff is paired up with Mega Lopunny to put the hurt on your opponent.
This printing is a full art rendition of Mega Lopunny and Jigglypuff GX. It has one standard Move and one GX Move. Jumping Balloon punishes your opponent for having too many GX and EX Pokemon in play by dealing 60 damage for each one. Puffy Smashers will put your opponent’s Pokemon to Sleep and if this card has four or more Energy attached to it, you’re able to do 200 damage to any of their Pokemon.
6Jigglypuff Mcdonalds Promos $15.00
I’m Loving It
The Jigglypuff from the McDonald’s Promos is unique in many ways. For starters, this was part of a collaboration between Pokemon and McDonald’s back in 2016. This usually meant that it had a holographic foiling that glittered like scales on the card art.
Another unique trait that this card has is that it is a Fairy-type. There was a time when the Pokemon TCG experimented with adding the Fairy-type to the lineup of playable cards. Eventually, the type was taken out of the card game and the members of its typing were all absorbed by other factions. So if you’re lucky enough to have this card in your collection, then take good care of it.
5Jigglypuff Build A Bear Promo $17.19
A Card And Plush
Build-A-Bear is known for collaborating with Pokemon. Some of the most popular Pokemon can be found in the store waiting for new owners. Of course, once you’re done stuffing your new plush and giving it a birth certificate, you’re able to also get your hands on a special Pokemon Card to go with it.
This Jigglypuff has the Build-A-Bear Workshop logo on the card art. This card is similar to the one found inthe Sun and Moon era set, Crimson Invasion. It has all the same Moves with the only difference being the logo on the art. However, this is still the rarer of the two.
4Jigglypuff Southern Islands $21.90
A Tropical Movie Promotion
The Southern Islands set is not a full expansion for the Pokemon TCG but rather a series of promotional cards that were released for the Pokemon 2000 movie. One card to get a printing in this set is Jigglypuff.
The card art features Jigglypuff holding a flower while other Pokemon hang out in the background. All the cards in this set are playful in that regard. The Southern Island set would often come inside its dedicated binder, which is also a rarity today. If you’re looking for a Pokemon TCG set that has its place in TCG history, then this is relatively small but valuable to collect.
3Jigglypuff Black And White $23.65
Care To Flip A Coin?
How lucky are you feeling? ThePokemon Black and White era of the TCGcontained a Promo Jigglypuff that could be found in special packs released during the 2012 Gym Challenge. This card is considered a Black Star promo and has that iconic premium gleam when it reflects the light.
This card has only one Move, but it is a funny one. Continuous Tumble does ten damage each time you flip a coin and hit tails. It also doesn’t have a cap. If you want to stun your opponent with your luck, then the biggest flex is to use this Move and never land on heads. While this is unrealistic, it would make for an interesting story to tell if you pulled it off.
2Mega Lopunny And Jigglypuff GX Rainbow $24.29
A Treasure At The End OF The Rainbow
Mega Lopunny and Jiggllyguff GX have a variety of different printings, all of which are worth a pretty penny. If you aren’t into the regular full art, then there exists a rainbow rare version that might pique your interest. This card was released in the Pokemon Sun and Moon Cosmic Eclipse set.
It has the same Moves as the other printings but features rainbow artwork instead. The art of this card can be seen clearly when you tilt the card side to side. There are plenty of cards that look amazing in rainbow and this often makes them even more expensive than other printings.
1Mega Lopunny And Jigglypuff GX Alternate Full Art $102.72
Most Valuable Cuddle Buddies
The most valuable Jigglypuff card is also one of the more valuable Lopunny cards. This is a special illustration of Mega Lopunny and Jigglypuff GX. This is the highest rarity that you’re able to find of the Tag Team duo.
The card features Mega Lopunny cuddling with Jigglypuff in a field of flowers. The card art has a distinct style to it that makes it look extra cozy. One might say it looks like something out of a Yoshi game. If you’re out collecting valuable Jigglypuff cards, then this is the one that you want to chase after and hold tightly to once you get it.
