Every character’sPokemon TCGcareer has to start somewhere, with Pecharunt’s beginning in the Scarlet & Violet era’s Shrouded Fable set. Whilecards from the Scarlet and Violet erawill need time to see if their values are tied solely to hype or genuine demand, Pecharunt’s distinction as Shrouded Fable’s chase card is likely to help.
New debutants likeUrsaluna also start their Pokemon TCG career with a solid collection of valuable cards, indicating that Pecharunt might be among the next wave of Pokemon to make their mark. While these cards are likely to see huge shifts in value through 2025, their order is less likely to change until new Pecharunt cards are introduced.
Cards are ordered according to theirTCGPlayerMarket Price, which you might pay on average for a copy of the cards below.
Given the age and rarity of certain cards, onlythose with anestablished market price on TCGplayerare included.
However, sale prices differ depending on the card’s condition,so this market price is just a rough idea of the card’s value.
5Pecharunt Ex: Shrouded Fable (Double Rare) – $0.83
An Affordable Introduction
Pecharunt is aterrifying Poison and Ghost-type Pokemon, ironically modeled after a piece ofmochi– an otherwise delicious snack. The leader of the Loyal Three, Pecharunt, is a mischievous creature whose personality is perfectly reflected in this Double Rare card.
While the set is primarily focused on Pecharunt, this is easily the least visually appealing and thus the least expensive offering in Shrouded Fable. While this carddebuted at around eight dollars,Double Rares typically linger below the dollar mark for the entire lifespan, save for a select few choices who break the trend.
4Pecharunt Ex: Shrouded Fable (Ultra Rare) – $2.93
Follow The Rarity Road
Pecharunt Ex will be the lowest common denominator, as its appearances in Shrouded Fable all carry that same moniker. With a huge full art upgrade, this Pecharunt takes massive strides forward from the simple Double Rare design, capturing every inch of this Mochi Pokemon’s form in the frame.
Shrouded Fable has plenty of time to go before prices stabilize at their bottoms, but thisPecharunt quickly fell below five dollars after release.Considering that values are more easily discernible with years of data rather than months, it’s hard to predict this Pokemon’s course, though these early cards are likely to remain among its most desired portrayals.
3Pecharunt: Pokemon Center Exclusive Promo (Holo Rare) – $17.23
A Top-Priority Promo
While few promo cards can compare with the magnificence ofspecial promo sets like Southern Islands,Pecharunt’s ETB promo card from the Pokemon Center is one of the nicest promos of the Scarlet & Violet era.
Pokemon Center-exclusive promos come with Elite Trainer Box (ETB) purchasesdirectly from the Pokemon Center website.
Despite its young life, this Pecharunt dipped down toward the$11 markbefore doing a 180 and completelysoaring up toward the $20 plateau, settling at its current market price for now. Given the visual appeal of this card, it’s easy to understand why it gained value so quickly, though time will have the final say on if its value keeps climbing.
2Pecharunt Ex: Shrouded Fable (Hyper Rare) – $22.54
A Golden Glow Up
This Pecharunt Hyper Rare might look familiar because it boasts the exact same artwork as the Ultra Rare version. However, the key distinction of its gold background and border set it apart and give Pecharunt an incredibly bold stage to display its bright pink and black color palette.
While this carddebuted below $20 and dropped even further below the $15 mark,it immediately saw a resurgence and continuedclimbing past the $20 mark to its current market price, setting a new high. While this card is beginning to back off and stabilize in price, it’s hard to say how long it may maintain this value before increasing again.
1Pecharunt Ex: Shrouded Fable (Special Illustration Rare) – $25.51
Reigning Over The Rest
The most valuable Pecharunt card is also one ofthe best cards you can find in Shrouded Fable, offering an excellent zoomed-out look at the chain links that this terrifying Pokemon sends forth from the shadows. While its appearance is scary, its price chart is even scarier, as this Pecharunt Ex SIR continues to show signs of falling.
Strangely, althoughthis version appears to be on the decline while the Hyper Rare continues to rise,it still maintains a high enough value to claim the throne (for now). However, whichever way things go in terms of value, it’s hard to deny that this depiction of Pecharunt is an incredibly striking look at the Poison and Ghost-type Pokemon.
