When your whole game revolves around collecting cards and keeping players coming back to grind for more, it is difficult to implement a trading system that doesn’t immediately become better than spending money. The compromise is a system in which players grind up their duplicates to earn currency, which allows for trades to occur.
While some of the rarer cards are more expensive to trade, trading can help you fill in the gap in your collection with lower rarity cards being free to exchange.
