Asmongoldhas had his mainTwitchaccount suspended. This comes after his controversial comments about people from Palestine, who he referred to as “terrible people” from an “inferior culture”.

The racist rant went viral, quickly sparking controversy in the streamer community. Asmongold has since offered an apology, although many say this falls short of addressing the severity of his comments.

Asmongold Banned From Twitch After Referring To Palestinians As “Terrible People” Who Are “Not The Same As Us”

“No, I’m not going to cry a fking river when people who have genocide that’s baked into their laws are getting genocided,” said Asmongold in a clip that has been shared around social media. “I don’t give a fk. They’re terrible people. It’s not even a question. It’s crazy that people don’t see it that way.”

Asmongold then answers a question from a viewer in chat, asking how many people “they” have killed. Asmongold replies, “As many as they can.”

His rant then continues: “These people are not your allies. They are not the same as us. They come from an inferior culture that is horrible. It kills people for their identity, and is directly antithetical to everything western values stand for, and is an inferior culture in all ways.”

Asmongold has since made a statement on his comments, although this was before his Twitch ban.

Twitch is yet to comment on the ban, so it’s not known if this was the reason behind it. However, it is largely assumed that this is the case, given that he was suspended shortly after these comments were shared on social media.

As of the time of writing, Asmongold has not made another statement on the matter.
