Summary

To celebrate the spooky Halloween vibe,Two Point Museumhas confirmed that one of its locations will have a Supernatural theme that includes ghosts, spectres, and creepyFNAF-like animatronics.

Today is October 31st and I probably don’t need to tell you what that means - it’s Halloween! To celebrate the season of spooky scary skeletons, spectres, and ghouls,Two Point Museum has revealed one of the locations in the game that players can transform into a museum- the “peculiar” Wailon Lodge.

As the name not-so-subtly implies, something is a bit amiss about Wailon Lodge. While some of the other themes in Two Point Museum are alittlemore ordinary like Botany, Marine Life, and Pre-History, Wailon Lodge is all about the Supernatural and will have you dealing with ghosts, haunted TV sets, and everything else you’d expect from a spooky theme.

Two Point Museum Reveals Supernatural Wailon Lodge

Wailon Lodge was revealed and highlighted in a brand-new trailer for Two Point Museumthat gives a good idea of what it’s theme and “Ghostology” exhibits are all about. Just a brief glimpse at the museum shows a bunch of scary exhibits, from singing animatronics that are surely inspired by Five Nights at Freddy’s to massive Venus fly traps and a ghost train that circles around the lodge.

The trailer also gives a bit of background on Wailon Lodge itself, which is described as an “old haunted hotel” that you’ll be tasked with turning into an actual museum. In typical Two Point fashion, this means taking the theme as far as possible and turning its roaming ghosts into exhibits for your guests to enjoy.

A fair few of the exhibits are shown off in the trailer, such as Polterguest Rooms that let your guests be visited by (hopefully not vengeful) spirits, and haunted furniture that moves around as guests interact with it. You’ll be able to go on Expeditions into the Netherworld Rift to unlock new exhibits to decorate your museum with, which will all follow the same spooky theme.

The Supernatural trailer also shows that ghosts can slime your workers, which is one of what I assume will be many references to Ghostbusters.

Although this is the first time that we’ve actually seen the Supernatural Ghostology theme in action,it was actually confirmed for Two Point Museum a few months ago during initial previews for the game. Still, you can’t pick a better day than Halloween to finally show it off properly.
