How To Start Mercenary Quest

The first time you arrive on Kijimi,The Safecracker quest will take you to the Domak Refectory, which is the cantina on this world.

On the way, ND-5 will tell you to be careful because there are people on this worldthat carry heavy weaponry.Kay mentions to him that maybe she should talk to one of them for help in learning how to use weapons like that.

This conversationtriggers The Mercenary Expert Intel. After you talk to the bartender about Ank, leave and come back, thenask him about a mercenary. She’ll tell you to talk to the one brooding in the corner.

Turn around to your right andyou’ll find Rooster Trace, a gray-haired woman, sitting at a table in the back corner of the Refectory. When you talk to her, she’ll say she can’t help you because theEmpire took all her weapons, and she dumped the homing beacon in a nearby asteroid field.

How To Find Rooker’s Tracker In Orbit

Take the Trailblazer into Kijimi Orbit and follow thequest marker into the asteroid field. When you enter the search area, check every cargo container you see andlisten for the pinging sounds of the homing beacon.

Be on the lookout forpirates, empire tie fighters, and syndicatesyou don’t have a good relationship with. You may have to engage in a few space battles before finding the homing beacon.

Where To Meet Rooker To Get Her Guns Back

Now that you know where the empire is transporting Rooster’s guns,it’s time to get them back.

Fly to Tatooine and meet Rookeralong the edge of the North Jundland Wastes, about three and a half kilometers west of both Wayfar and Mos Eisley.

You’ll find Rooker waiting for you in a valley, up on a little land bridge withZ-6 Rotary Cannons set out for you to try. Pick one up and try it, then the fun will begin.

The first Imperial convoy will show upcoming from the northeast. This is your chance to really try the rotary cannons, but you’ll also want to make use of thelarge explosive barrels stationed nearby, as they can take out several troopers at once.

After you clear the first convoy, the second convoy willcome from the west, then thefinal convoy will come from the south.

Once you and Rooster have defeated all the Imperial convoys,head to the northwestern convoy to trigger the cut scenethat ends the quest. Once the quest is done,you’ll unlock Rooster as a new Expert, as well as the ability to pick up rotary cannons in battle.
