The Sims 4: Life & Deathintroduces funerals to the series for the first time. Sims can now remember and celebrate the life of those who have passed away through a variety of different means including holding services, and purchasing headstones, burial plots, memorials, and urns.

While Sims can have their tombstone, burial plot, memorial or urn placed on different lot types, including residential lots, many will want to take advantage of the new cemetery lot type.

Cemetery lots are a good place tohold a memorial service. In the Eternal Hollow Cemetery, you canhave a Sim deliver a eulogyfrom the podium inside the main building, while other Sims sit and listen.

You can also come here tospend some time in quiet reflection, sitting by the pond, in the chapel building or by the fountain, tending to a loved one’s gravesite, setting upa memorialfor them, orengraving and reading their epitaphon a headstone.

In the main building there is anempty casketbehind the podium which can becustomised with a flag or floral tribute. you may alsocustomise a memorial wreath and portraitwhich sit either side of the podium.

In small side rooms there arememorials which can be dedicated to deceased Sims. You can go andvisit theseto spend a few moments in reflection.

The main building contains toilets and Sims can sleep (or woohoo) in the coffin bed in the side building. There is also a set of swings for fun. No other needs can be easily met onsite.

Outside,a small building by the fountain contains a memorialwhich can also be dedicated to a Sim who has passed away. It also includes an urn and aWhispering Wren Messenger Statuewhich allows you topass on messages to loved oneson the other side.

Across the plot aretwo crypts which your Sim can explore, as well as another small building, this time containing acoffin bed.

As well as some areas for Sims to just sit, there are alsogravesites, which you can tend, as well asheadstones which you can engrave and read.

A few othermemorial items such as candlesare also in the area.
