According toSteamDB, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launched with a whopping 225,690 concurrent players onSteam, the tenth-highest of 2024. Given that it’s a fairly niche IP and that it was up against some behemoth releases, it’s an impressive stat.
Of course, the game fell behindBlack Myth: Wukong, which had the biggest single-player player count of all time, but many of the other titles it faced were from established franchises or free-to-play games.
