Behind the glitz and glamour is a dark and twisted story that weaves all of Miraland together, and Nikki can be found at the heart of it all. Her encounters at the beginning of the game set an unstoppable chain of events in motion, and Ena the Curator is responsible.
But just who is this Curator and what does she want? The answer isn’t as straightforward as you’d hope, but we’re here to break it down and share everything we know. Here’s everything you need to know about Ena the Curator before entering Miraland!
Who Is Ena The Curator?
When you first meet Ena the Curator, you find herlocked away in a temple. Only Nikki is able to free her using the Threads of Reunion to unlock the temple and find the woman bound to the walls in chains.
Ena has beenchained inside the temple for a thousand years, ever since the Heaven Fall, limiting her powers and keeping her a prisoner surrounded by Esselings. Suspended high above the floor, she has always been just out of reach.
Adorned in all white and silver, Ena isassumed to be a goddess of some kind–and a cursed oneat that. She recognizes the Threads of Reunion the momentthey enter Miralandand guides Nikki to find her, resulting in the chains binding her to break.
Ena comments thatshe used to dance with the owner of the Threads of Reunion, but it’s unclear who this is. It’s possible that she means Nikki’s mother.
In this moment, she laments that the world’s ball is about to end, and only now has Nikki arrived to save them all. As a final parting gift meant to save Nikki from the Dark Essence filtering into the temple,Ena bequeaths the Heart of Infinity from within herselfto the young girl.
Ena is then left behind in the temple as the Dark swallows it all. She sends Nikki to safety, along with the goal of reviving all the Miracle Outfits anduncover truths that even the departed gods could not find.
