The Olympic Update forHades 2introduced new materials to farm, like Adamant. This new reagent is used to perform certain incantations, unlocking a new weapon, and upgrading it.
Being exclusive to Mount Olympus, it can take a while before you are able to farm it, since it requires you to progress through the entirety of the Surface. This guide will help you learn all there is to know about collecting Adamant and its various uses.
How To Get Adamant
Adamant canonly be found on Mount Olympus. Similar to other reagents, likeSilver,Iron, etc., itsspawns are random,averaging out at around one or two deposits of it in a run. You should also note thatone deposit yields a total of three units of Adamant.
Before making atrip to Mount Olympus, be sure toprioritize theCrescent Pickat the Training Grounds, as it will allow you to manifest more Outcroppings.
With the Crescent Pick prioritized, head over to Mount Olympus and start searching for Adamant deposits. If you have no idea what it looks like,Adamant is brown, in the shape of a rock. You will alsonotice it sparkling brightly.
In order to get to Mount Olympus, you will need tosurvive the Surface, go through theCity of Ephyra, and theRift of Thessaly. This is easier said than done, so it will probably require a few runs.
How To Use Adamant
Adamant has a variety of uses. Its primary use is toacquire the Black Coat weapon. It is one of the Nocturnal Weapons that requires Adamant andCinder. You will alsoneed additional Adamant to upgrade its Aspect of Melione.
Other than this, Adamant is also required to do theFrozen Lifespring incantationat the Cauldron. This incantation, which requires three Adamant and three Iris,creates a Fountain Chamberin Mount Olympus that can be immensely valuable for almost any run. And lastly, it is also needed for theEyes of Night and Darkness incantation, which makesMoon MonumentsandUnseen Sigilsappear sometimes.
