Not only do each of your teammates have affinities of which you’ll need to be mindful inPersona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis, they’ve got a full list of other stats available to see in the menu. They tend to be better at either magic or strength damage, so it’s always best to double down where possible.

Whether you’re using teammates renowned for their brute strength and want them to hit even harder or you’re trying to make up for a lower attack stat on a staple teammate, we’ve found the best weapons for each teammate in the Episode Aigis DLC.

Whileweapons from Mayoido Antiquestend to be the best in Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis, they also require a lot of work to get, including finding rare base weapons, stockpiling expensive gemstones, and obtaining the Heart Items ofrather high-level Personas. This means you’ll likely not be able to get them until pretty late in the game, if at all, depending on your player level and the number of Personas in Aigis' Compendium.

As such, we’ve also included thebest weapons from the Police Stationin our list of the best weapons for each character in Episode Aigis, since Officer Kurosawa charges outright cash for his list of hard-hitting items instead of requiring a laundry list of expensive, hard-to-find materials.

Unsurprisingly, it’s the ultimate Persona in the Aeon arcana from the base game of Persona 3 Reload whose Heart Item you need to create the best weapon for Aigis in the DLC. Aigis’ ultimate weapon is the same in the combat-centric DLC as it is in the base game, so if you made it for her before, you know how much work Metatronius can be to get.

When Aigis is using Metatronius, though, Arms Master means all of her HP-based physical damage moves have their costs cut in half, meaning she’s a melee menace on the field. Until then, Megido Fire may be the most expensive of Officer Kurosawa’s weapons, but who can argue with a 335 base attack stat even before you factor in which Persona Aigis is using when she strikes?

What Yukari lacks in brute strengthif you peek at her and Isis’ battle stats, she more than makes up for with her magic stat, but you’re able to double down on how much innate pierce damage she can deal by equipping her with either Yoichi’s Bow from Officer Kurosawa or the Quintessence Bow at Mayoido Antiques.

Though you’ll need to get the heart item from Chi You to make it, (and Yoichi’s Bow is still pretty powerful until you can), the Quintessence Bow grants Yukari the innate ability of Auto Concentrate when she enters battle, meaning her first magic attack will land for double damage each time she enters battle.

Junpei is one of your heaviest hitters of all your SEES teammates, so unsurprisingly, he gets one of the toughest weapons in the game as his ultimate from Mayoido, Masakado’s Katana. Once you’ve unlocked the Emperor’s Sake Cup from Masakado, Apt Pupil means Junpei will permanently double his crit rate while using the weapon.

Given thatJunpei’s Theurgy chargeswhen he lands critical hits, Masakado’s Katana can help Junpei turn into something of a machine on the battlefield. Tobi-botaru hits with the same accuracy until then, especially if you’vehung out with Junpeia bit and have unlockedsome of his combat characteristics. Even if it is a bit pricier than the rest of the team’s gear,we love Junpei; we think he’s worth the price tag.

Try not to think too hard about the Personayou’ll need to level upfor the Heart Item Akihiko requires for his ultimate weapon. Mara is aninterestingPersona that offers the Mara’s Head item as its Heart Item, but given what a tank it can be in battle depending on how you build it, that’s pretty easy to achieve before long.

Until you’ve got Mara’s Head and a Nihil White Model, though, Kurosawa will sell you a pair of Golden Gloves that still have some of the highest base attack for your teammates. Akihiko’s strength stat is always his strong suit, if you’ll pardon the pun, so double down on that by giving him an excellent weapon.

While Mitsuru is definitely more of a magic user in combat, her strength-based attacks are nothing to shy away from! This is especially true if she’s using Kokuseki Senjin from Mayoido Antiques, which not only boosts all of her stats by five, but boosts her magic ability by default as well.

Once you’ve gotten the Black Pillar Sword from Alilat, the ultimate Persona of the Empress arcana in the base game, Mitsuru will pack one heck of a punch. The Damascus Rapier from the Police Station is still a worthwhile choice until then, though, with a 95 base accuracy almost guaranteeing a powerful punch.

A lot of Ken’s use in battle is centered around his Light magic and healing abilities, especially with his Theurgy charging when he’s below half SP and his Pierce damage almost always redundant with Aigis as the protagonist, but the Pinaka from Mayoido Antiques is a real game-changer for Ken.

Boosting both his HP and SP by 100 innately while he’s using the Pinaka, you’ll need to earn the Destroyer’s Drums from Shiva to create the weapon, along with grabbing a Nihil White Model (which you may get from one ofElizabeth’s requests for Aigis). Nihon-gou is available from Officer Kurosawa for a middling price, among the rest of the weapons for sale in Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis.

The best boy on the team also has one of the best weapons from Mayoido Antiques! Koromaru’s ultimate weapon is the Vajra dagger, with an impressive 410 base attack that lands with a 96 accuracy. Not only does Koromaru receive nine extra points to each of his stats when using the Vajra dagger, but he’ll also have Ali Dance, boosting his evasion.

Asura is the source of the Carnage King’s Gear item, curiously not using the ultimate Persona of the Strength arcana, , since Koromaru represents the Strength arcana in the female protagonist’s route in Persona 3 Portable. Atlus really can’t let us haveany hint of FeMC in P3R, can they?

1 Lord of the Flies Wings

Interestingly enough,a lot of Metis’ weapons run parallel to Shinjiro’s, and the same is true of their ultimate weapons from Mayoido Antiques. The Corpse Rod is one of the most powerful Strike damage weapons in the game, boosting a 450 attack stat even before Auto Charge makes their first physical attack hit for double damage at the start of each battle.

The Lord of the Flies Wings item comes from Beelzebub, meaningyou’ve got your work cut out for youno matter which character you’re giving the Corpse Rod to (in the base game or in Episode Aigis). The Gambanteinn, in the meantime, is still available at a manageable price once you’ve gotten into the Empyrean door, so Metis will still deal great damage with it until then.
