So you’ve made it to level 50 inThrone And Liberty. Now the game actually begins. There’s a lot to get started on, including starting your item grind and item chases, leveling up your character’s skills, learning dungeons, completing dynamic world events - particularly bosses - and trying to help your guild excel through contracts and PvP.

Throne And Liberty is primarily asocial MMOwhich means basically every task is better completed with some friends or at least some people that you meet playing the game. Even grinding mobs for Resistance Contracts or in open world dungeons is better if you’re doing it in a party.

Endgame Gear Grind

This is by far the biggest driving force of your endgame activities. By this point, you should have a decent idea of what sort of build you want to go with. Whether that’s a Healer, Tank, or DPS, is up to you.

Each build has a set of Best-In-Slot gear, which we’ll refer to as BiS from this point out, that can be acquired in a variety of ways.

You might need to farm mobs in Syleus' Abyss to get a drop, or you might need to kill the Chernobog World Boss fifteen times.

The grind is what you make of it, and gear and blueprintscan be purchased from the Auction House for Lucent if you want to expedite this process.Where’s the fun in that, though?

Endgame Starter Gear

You’ll get your first epic piece of armor bycompleting the story quest, and then you can start grinding mobs, upgrading your existing rares, and hunting epic pieces.

Weekly missions are a great way to get epic gear rewards. Make sure to check the weekly mission tab via the main menu to see how you’re able to maximize your returns by completing various objectives.

Guild raid bosses and world bosses are another way to get your first decent, easy-to-get piece of gear.

Gear Essentials

There are some key things to remember about gearing in Throne And Liberty:

Resistance Contracts

Resistance Contracts are your ‘dailies’, an MMO term for any task that you’re able to repeat, well, daily.

We recommend farming Resistance Contracts at either Purelight Tower or Canina Village. These will offer good rewards for level 50 players.

Throne And Liberty Guild Contracts-1

We have two tips for Resistance Contracts:

Refresh your contract selection page after you accept a new contract. You will get a chance to get aPrecious Rewardspouch as a reward for one of the new contracts. This is a great way to get early loot.

Likewise, check the rewards of these Precious Reward pouchesto see if they drop the gear you need. Different areas with different mobs will drop different loot. For example, if we were hunting for a pair of Heroic Boots Of Resistance for our Healer build, we might want to accept contracts in the Grayclaw Forest with a chance of getting a random drop from a wolf.

With Contract Coins, you can save up 1,500 to be able to purchase a Precious Weapon Chest. This allows you to pick any Epic weapon you’d like from the selection. This is a great way to get your power up right at the start of the endgame.

World Bosses

you’re able to check the schedule of upcoming World Boss events in the top right of your screen. This will include the full schedule for any events taking place that day.

World Bosses are large events for multiple players, and there are eitherConquestorPeacefulvariants. Conquest just means that players can attack and kill each other, whereas Peaceful means everyone is working together.

Make sure to check which drops you need for your build by examining different world boss drops. For example, Chernobog might drop something you need for your build, so that’s where you’d begin to farm.Make sure to join a party before fighting as heals, support, etc, are all useful.

Abyssal Contract Tokens

Abyssal Contract Tokensare a currency that can be spent in the world’s open dungeons, such as Syleus' Abyss, the Ant Nest, etc. These areas arePeacefulduring the day and in a state ofPvPat night.

These areas can drop important loot, but they’re also good for working onGuild Contracts(more on that in a moment.) As the game progresses through its lifecycle, we will see deeper floors of these dungeons opened to players, with harder mobs, and better loot.Deeper floors are also better experienced with a party.

Guild Content

A huge part of Throne And Liberty’s endgame revolves around building your guild, bidding onBoonstones, fighting sieges, and generally trying to develop your guild.

Guild Contracts can be found in the guild menu, and you can buildguild reputationby completing these contracts. Some of them might be quite simple - like just kill mobs that are ‘Wildkin’ (any creature that isn’t a human) - whereas others might send you to complete a certain dynamic task.

Find a decent, active guild in Throne And Liberty and you’ll have a much better time of it.

Despite having a good range of PvE activities, Throne And Liberty isquite a PvP-focused MMO. A lot of the best world events, like Castle Sieges, are PvP only.

You might want to think about how you can diversify your build to be both PvE and PvP. For example, it might make sense to have a set of gear for PvE content - clearing mobs, or dealing with dungeons - and a set of gear with different traits and stats better suited for PvP.

Continuing To Level Your Character

Though the level cap is at 50, that doesn’t mean your character is fully developed at this point.

You need to work on leveling up all your skills and abilities to max level - which will require thePrecious Skill Bookgrind to level up Epic skills. You’ll also need to continue working on upgrading your gear withPrecious Growthstones, and lastly, continue grinding your weapon mastery.

Every build in the game gets a serious power spike once you start fleshing out your skill specializations, get your first few bits of BiS gear, and work towards max weapon mastery.
