If you’ve spent some time exploring the giant world ofGenshin Impact, you likely already know that there are a ton of hidden secrets all around including chests, quests, and even Teleport Waypoints. Most of these only unlock by following a specific path, and Ripe For Trouble is one such quest.
To get this quest, you’ll first have to embark on a long journey to reach the Natlan region. As you explore this region, you’ll need to find some specific items to unlock Ripe For Trouble and solve a few puzzles to beat it.
How To Unlock Ripe For Trouble
If you want to unlock the Ripe For Trouble quest, you’ll first have to find an item called Green-Edged Paper Slip. If you’vealready explored Natlan, there’s a high chance you might’ve already stumbled upon this. If you haven’t yet, simply head over to the Teleport Waypoint right below where “Scions of the Canopy” is written on the map.
After the teleportation is finished, look in the waypoint’s direction and you’ll see a shining spot on a crateright beside it. Interacting with this spot will get you the slip, at which point you can start this quest. Next, head over to the Tequemecan Valley waypoint to the northeast of the current one.
As soon as you reach this waypoint, you’ll see a quest icon on the minimap. Head over to the little cave with this quest icon to find Poca. After talking to her, you’ll agree touse the slip you got and enter the cave to check on her friend. This will also unlock ahidden Teleport Waypoint.
How To Beat Ripe For Trouble Quest
As you enter the cave, you’ll find Tisoc passed out on the tree branch. After talking to him, you’llrealize that the fruits in the area aren’t ripening enough, and you have to somehow solve this issue. To do this, start by entering the path shown during the dialogue until you reach some further hidden ruins with some Yumkasaurs and Slimes in it.
Defeat all the enemies and morph into a Yumkasaur before grappling over to the upper platform to the left with a lot of explosive fruits. Once you’re here, take one of the fruits with the Yumkasaur and shoot it at the red symbol on the wall to break it. You’ll then be able to progress further into the cave system.
In the next area, you can get some chests but the main thing you have to do to progress the quest is once again morphing into aYumkasaur on the right and using the grapples to go all the way to the end. Here, you’ll have to shoot two more fruits at the two glowing spots in the wall to reach the final area for the quest.
In this area, you’ll find a path to the right side taking you to the back of the wall you have to destroy. However, you have to be careful here since the lava will start rising as soon as you break it. Once you break the wall, use the new grapple line to get out of the area before the lava gets too high. After that, you can end the quest with a final dialogue.
When you’re done with this quest, you can head over to theblue tree shown in this area on the map to meet with Poca againand get some extraMora.
