InBlack Myth: Wukong, the Destined One has multiple tools at his disposal to help overcome the many bosses encountered throughout each chapter. From his trusty staff and various spells to transformations that grant combat advantages, there’s no shortage of options. Additionally, there are Spirits.
Spirits are similar to transformations in that they allow the player to take on the form of another boss, but they function differently. Unlike transformations, which require Might and last for a while, Spirits are used for a single attack and cost Qi. Spirits also offer bonus stats when equipped, and there are numerous Spirits to discover throughout the game.
You need to have completed the Chen Loong quest to unlock the Zodiac Village hub area.
How To Get The Elder Amourworm Spirit
In order to obtain theElder AmourwormSpirit, you first need toreach Chapter Four. Once there, progress forward until youreach the Keeper’s Shrine known as Webbed Hollow - The Verdure Bridge. From here,cross the nearby wooden bridgeandfollow the path to the left.
As you approachthe two lanterns door, a cutscene will trigger if it’s your first visit to this location. After the cutscene, you’ll gain access to a secret room with four chests.
Loot these chests, thengo through the spider web entranceto reach an open area where you’ll encountera boss fight against the Elder Amourworm.
After you defeat this boss, you willreceive the Proto-Armourworm, which you need to take back to Chen Loong at the Zodiac Village.
When interacting with Chen Loong, choose the option “Deliver Proto-Armourworm.” This will place the Proto-Armourworm ina pot on the right side where you plant your ingredients,but the objective here isfeeding it.
You’ll need threeRice Cocoons, which may already be in your inventory.These are dropped from the cocoons scattered around the Webbed Hollow. Their drop is random, so destroy the cocoons until you gather three.
With three Rice Cocoons in hand,return to the Zodiac Villageand visit the pot containing the worm.Feed it,then rest at the shrine.Repeat this process three times.
After feeding the worm thrice, rest at the shrine one final time andreturn to the worm pot to absorb the Elder Amourworm Spirit.
