The investigation into the murder of Dead World Safi inLife Is Strange: Double Exposureeventually leads the Detective Alderman to Dead World Moses' lab. Desperate, he sounds the S-O-S and Max comes running to his side.

While the Alderman is out of ear shot, Moses confides in you that he took Safi’s camera from the crime scene and has hidden it somewhere in his lab. Before he can tell you where, the cop comes back. Now, it’s up to you to sneak in somehow and find Safi’s camera before Moses gets charged with Safi’s murder.

How To Get Into Moses' Lab

First, you need tofind a way to get into the lab. you may’t do it in Dead World while the Alderman is there watching, so you’ll need toshift to the Living World. There’s a shift point around the corner by thejanitor cart.

In the Living World, walk into the lab and talk to Living World Moses in there. He’s inside working on his telescope. When you talk to him, to move the conversation forward,ask him if he has any contraband hidden away.

Finding The Allen Wrench In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure.

He tells you about an electric kettle he has, but then the telescope starts to fall and Moses, while holding it up, asks you togo find an allen wrench so he can fix it, then he’ll tell you where he hides things in his office.

To get the allen wrench, shift to Dead World using theshift point in the corner of the lab, take the allen wrench from the table in the middle of the room, then goback to Living World and give it to Moses.

Taking Key To Cabinet In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure.

Moses will fix the telescope, then he shows you to alocked cabinet by his deskwhere he keeps his “contraband kettle”.

As he starts doing work on his computer,take the key that he left on the shelf, then shift back to Dead World and unlock the cabinet.

Finding The Note That Says “Under ‘Safe’” In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure.

Unfortunately, the camera isn’t there,but you do find a note that says “Under ‘Safe’”.

While looking around Moses' lab in both timelines,there are several items you can examineand interact with to learn more about Moses, including apolaroid photo collectibleon Carla’s desk in Dead World.

How To Find The “Safe”

On the wall by the door,there’s a poster from an anime that Moses likes, and the character has a safe on its head. Examine the poster,then search the box underneath it. You won’t find the camera there, but you need to do this to get Max to mention thatshe needs to ask Moses about a safe.

Shift back to the Living World and ask him if he has a safe. He tells you about astar called Saiph(pronounced like “safe”)in the Orion constellation. With that knowledge, shift back to Dead World, andgo up the stairs to the loft.

On a bookshelf next to the railing isa Star Projector. Max says Moses must’ve used it to paint the mural, andthat Saiph should be on there.

You need toline up the constellations with the muralto figure out where the star Saiph would’ve landed on the wall thenight that Moses hid the camera.

Once the constellation is in place, go back downstairs, andyou’ll find Saiph in the lower left corner. Max will see the camera in the vent behind the cart full of telescope parts.

How To Distract The Detective And Get Safi’s Camera

Before you get a chance to get the camera, however,the detective finally gets access and comes into the lab. You need to stay out of sight and distract him so you can grab Safi’s camera.

Luckily, you’re standingright inside the shift point. Use it to go to Living World, thentake the loud Hawt Dawg Man ornamentfrom the Christmas tree. Next, go up to the loft andshift back to Dead World. A cut scene will play as Max plants the ornament and activates it.

Before Alderman comes up the stairs,quickly shift to Living World, go downstairs, and shift back to Dead World. When you attempt to move the telescope parts,the dolly squeaks, alerting Alderman.

Max starts wishing that Moses had built the telescope in this timeline and suddenly, the telescope parts start to glow. Press the button prompts that appear, and Max will use her powers to make thetelescope parts and the built telescope trade places, blocking you from Alderman’s sight.

While Alderman is distracted by the telescope that just appeared in the room,take Safi’s camera from behind the grate, shift to Living World, then leave Moses' office and shift back to Dead World.
