To unravel the sinister mystery behind Cauldron Lake, Kiran Estevez must navigate through the Bureau. Understanding the depth of this case requires five computers containing the correct information, which are locked behind passwords at different sublevels. By understanding the clues left behind by the operators, you can locate these computers and crack their passwords.
Dr. James Mermont Office Computer Password
The first computer you’ll encounter is the one inside Dr. James Mermont’s officeon the Bureau’s ground floor. To crack the password, you must look around the room to locate enough numbers to fulfill the six-digit code requirement.
After inspecting the documents around the room, you willfind two specific pieces of informationhighlighted: July 18 and Dr. Hedy Lamar’s age of 38. Put them together, and you get the code071838.
Black Rock Launcher Room Computer Password
Once you retrieve the clearance level two keycard, you canreturn to Sublevel Oneandopen a door leading to the Black Rock Launcher. Inside the room, you may locate the second computer and the Black Rock Launcher; you only need to be observant.
Interact with the computer, and you will find the code written on a sticky note on the monitor that reads021219.
Lockdown Control Room Computer Password
Before entering Sublevel Two,stack up ammoas the floor is jam-packed with numerous Taken enemies. On this sublevel, you must firstuse a computer at the far endto disengage the lockdown and open up locked doors.
The same computer also requiresa password to access the mailbox. After the lockdown disengages, retrieve the clearance level two keycard from the guard’s body and return to head inside another room. Inside the room, you must find enough info to craft a six-digit code for the computer. Combine the information from the documents together; you’re able to find the password092225.
South Cell Computer Password
On Sublevel Two, you will spottwo giant cells rightafter entering the main lounge.Descend the stairs to your leftto find a computer on a table and an interactable NPC named Rudolph Lane inside the cell. Like the Black Rock Launcher room computer, the password of this computer is written on a sticky note on the monitor:123456.
Dr. Diane Mormont’s Office Computer Password
The fifth and final computer to unlock is located at Dr. Diane Mormont’s office atSublevel Four across from the film reel archives. Once again,you must be observant to find the passwordwritten on a sticky note and glued to the monitor.
