Between the hundreds of treasure chests, memories of the seven, and magic books, there are a ton of things to find and collect inRomancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven.However, one of the most interesting collectibles is Mr. S, an odd-looking, all-yellow, miniaturized cyclops that fans of Final Fantasy Legends 2 will remember fighting alongside.
The difficulty of locating Mr. S ranges greatly from location to location. Sometimes, he is just chilling by the local tavern, other times he’ll be sitting on a cliff, watching the ocean. However, other times Mr. S is carefully concealed and extraordinarily easy to miss. We’ll help you locate him in all of these locations, help you earn the valuable rewards you get from finding him, and get you that shiny trophy.
Mr. S Rewards
Finding Mr. S isn’t just something you’ll be doing for fun. For every five Mr. S spottings, you will unlock another reward. These are not small bonuses, either. They’ll help you locate other unlockables, give you experience bonuses, and most excitingly, confer massive bonuses in battle. That includes unlocking another ability slot for your allies. We’ve included all the rewards you’re able to earn below below.

Every Mr. S Hiding Spot
Below you’ll find a description of every hiding spot you’ll find Mr. S in. The majority of these locations are accessible fairly early in the game, but a few of them will require you to complete other areas first. Additionally, Mr. S is found in the final dungeon in the game, which means that the final Mr. S is locked to the final section to unlock in the game.
North Varennes
Castle Avalon
This Mr. S is unmissable. The game will find him for you.
Avalon
You won’t be able to find Mr. S until youunlock the Incantation lab. Once you do, he will be behind the circular counter in the center of the lab, pretending to be a clerk.
You won’t be able to find this Mr. S until youunlock the Imperium University. Once the university is unlocked, you’ll find him behind a desk on the east side of the first floor.
South Varennes
Dragon Lair
Inside the cave, Mr. S will be sitting at a table on the west side of the map.
Fiends' Cloister
You will need to kill the slime boss first, but once you do, if you proceed, he will simply be on the main pathpastthat slime.
Miramar
This is another town where Mr. S is hanging out on the dock.
Nibel
Mr. S is in the southwest section of the map. He is planted in the garden.
You’ll find him sitting outside of the Tefal Tavern.
Ludon Highlands
Mr. S is in the southwest corner of the map. He is sitting on the cliff side overlooking the ocean.
Cumberland
Castle Nerak
Near the entrance, you’ll see Mr. S' head poking out of a wagon.
Douglass
You’ll find Mr. S sleeping on a giant bail of hay in the north section of town.
Hofah
Mr. S will be sitting on the dock staring out at the ocean.
Great Wall - Eastern Gate
You’ll find Mr. S by the cooking pot slightly south of the center of the map.
Great Wall - Western Gate
Mr. S is attending a meeting with the soldiers on the east side of the map.
North Longit
Nuono
On the west end of the map, Mr. S is hanging out on a bench.
Mobelm
You’ll find him on the east side of the map, next to a set of stairs (a little south of the inn)
Mr. S is just hanging out in the tavern.
Atlanticus
There is a good chance that this is why you are here. Mr. S is hanging on a bedsheet outside the inn. It isn’t easy to see them. The developer who hid this one is a sicko.
Witch’s Sanctum
You’ll find Mr. S lying on a bed in the Witch’s hut.
The Steppe
Miles
Mr. S is sleeping on the fountain in the center of town.
Mr. S is in the Inn. He’s sleeping.
Ponente
Mr. S is huddled around the pot near the south exit of town.
Mole Den
Enter the house in the south of the map, you’ll find Mr. S sleeping in one of those bed nook things. You’ll find the Mole Den by way of the Termite Den.
Mr. S is chilling on a barrel on the dock.
Teretuva
You’ll find Mr. S sleeping on a bench in the center of town.
You’ll find Mr. S in the right tower (it is in the north if you look at the map). Just travel to the end of the corridor, and you’ll find him clinging to the wall.
Austeros
Torrid Ruins
When you are in theUpper B1 section, you will cross a bridge, and there will be two portals you can cross through. The first portal will take you to the next area you need to go to, so go to the room south of that one and cross through that portal, and you will be in the room in the northwest section of the map. Mr. S is standing outside of this room.
Nival Ruins
Mr. S is in the Research Tower 2F section of this tower.
Comroon Island
Tsukijima
Mr. S is hiding in the south section, on the docks, under a canoe.
Mt. Comroon
You’ll find Mr. S hanging out on the cliff, overlooking the lavaon the east side of the pathbeforeyou enter the massive cavenear the beginning of the map.
Zemio
Mr. S is hanging out in the library. He’s hard to miss.
Salamat
Fall down the hole in front of the Amazon village, and you will find a tiny Mr. S buried head first to your right.
Mowlie
Mr. S is by the campfire in the center of town.
Sunken Tower
You’ll find Mr. S on the fifth floor of the Sunken Tower. They are in the south section of the map.
Eirunep
Mr. S is on the fourth floor of Eirunep Tower, on the raised section of the southern section of the map.
Eirunep Shrine
Okay, this one is a little more involved. When you are in the room with five portals, you’ll need to activate the portal that is on your right (it is the southmost portal of the map). Travel through that portal, and Mr. S will be standing in front of you.
Yauda
Yuyan
Mr. S is sleeping on a red bench, next to the item shop in the center of town.
Castle Chonto
You’ll find Mr. S ro the left of the entrance of Castle Chonto’s dungeon.
You’ll find Mr. S sleeping in the Liangshan Inn.
Mt. Chikapa
You’ll work your way north, then, when you are in the massive cavern, and you have scaled the massive rock spire, then you, after you have exited the cavern, climb the ivy wall on the right, and follow your way until you find Mr. S sitting on the rock ledge.
Torrence
Forgotten Town
From the entrance to the Forgotton town, head down the stairs on your left, then, once you are on the lower level, take a right, go up the stairs, and you’ll find Mr. S up here.
Nazelle
Saigo Village
In the center of town, between two buildings,Mr. S is inside of a pot.
Minstrel’s Cave
Halfway through the cave, you’ll find Mr. S sitting on a stone ledge.
Mu Tundra
A little southwest of the center, you’ll find Mr. S hanging onto a Mu.
Southern Subterrane
Halway through the stage, Mr. S is hanging out on a stone bridge. He isprettyhard to miss.
Nazelle Strait
Mr. S is sitting on the ledge right in front of the entrance.
Child & Mu Calf Cave
Complete the dungeon as you normally would. When you are in the B1 section, just about to jump down the hole to get to the child, Mr. S will be hanging out by the nearby cliff.
The Frozen Sea
Gelid Ruins
Once you enter the stage, you’ll see Mr. S clinging to a wall on the right.
Snowdrifts
Mr. S will be standing on the edge of the cliff right at the beginning of the second area in the Snowdrifts. He is pretty much right out in the open.If you want to know how you unlock the snowdrifts, that is done by defeating six of the seven heroes.
