How To Get An S Rank In Radical Highway

Radical Highway is the grand finale of Shadow Generations, so it’s only fitting that it’s the most complex, demanding set of levels in the game. These two final Acts are some of the most punishingin getting an S rank, so you may’t afford to make a single mistake. Check out our advice on how to come through like you know Shadow can.

Radical Highway Act 1 S Rank

Unlike every other level in Shadow Generations, Black Doom won’t be interfering with you here. It’s just Shadow, the Black Arms, and a lot of suspended highways. That’s the trickiest part of the level. A single wrong step can spell doom without anything in the way of forgiveness.Take your time to learn the route.

When the opportunity is available, always use the Doom Wings. Flying let’s Shadow bypass many of the harder sections of the level, and your Boost gauge will refill automatically as long as you’re on solid ground.

Any time Shadow passes through a Dash Ring, you must dash again to start flying. Keep this in mind so you don’t fall.

There are plenty of enemies to use Doom Blast on here as well.Use Doom Wings to ascend over their moving shield attacksand aim as high as you’re able to with Doom Blast to skip large chunks of the level.

When it comes to the sections where you are sliding down skyscrapers, err on the side of caution. Aiming for a few extra rings won’t help you if you get hit along the way.Aim for the left corridor on the first descent, and the suspended highway on the right on the second descent to cut out a bunch of the hazards.

Whenever you are in a flying section, make sure toaim for the hordes of Rings in the sky. These will refill your Boost gauge mid-flight to save you either having to land or plummet downwards.

Those comprise the hardest sections of Radical Highway Act 1. You’ll want to keep an eye on your Boost gauge, and fly through as much of the level as possible. Completing with ascore of 40,000 and a time under 4:00 minuteswill get you an A Rank. A Perfect Clear will get you an S Rank.

If you fall a little above four minutes, gather up as much Rings as you canto pump up your score a little higher.

Radical Highway Act 2 S Rank

Radical Highway Act 2, being the final Act of Shadow Generations before your showdown with Black Doom, asks a lot of you. It is hard to even complete, anddemands even more if you want that coveted S Rank. Here’s what we recommend to get you to the end in record time.

In the opening section with the portions of highway flying towards you, don’t miss the bounce pad on the right. This will lead to two flying enemies.Use your Homing Attack only on the highest oneand then boost to reach the nearby Dash Ring.

When you come against the giant Black Arms enemies that summon tornadoes, try to avoid them. While Shadow won’t take damage, they will block his progress while draining his Boost gauge. You can’t brute force your way through, so follow the Dash Rings instead.

After defeating these enemies, don’t immediately progress. After a moment,a tiny alien will appear which you can use Doom Blast on. For the first, aim for the highest lock-on point. For the second, aim just above the highest lock-on point to bring yourself right to the next checkpoint.

While inside the circular tunnels, keep the button for Doom Spears held down. This will let you automatically lock-on to the teleporting enemies, and will even make one of them available to Doom Blast at the very end of the tunnel too.

It’s difficult, but there is an upside grind rail in the next flying section that will save you some time.you may still get an S Rank if you miss it,though.

Beyond that, the same as in Act 1 applies. Use Doom Wings whenever possible, and fly through the Rings in the air to keep your Boost gauge charged. Completing with ascore of 40,000 and a time under 3:30 minutesshould get you an A Rank, with the Perfect Clear elevating you to an S Rank.
