Kingdom Valley is all aboutthe highs and being cautious with your footing. There are plenty of spots where you can easily fall to your death, while just as many dangerous jumps will reward you with a higher route to get to your goal quicker.

Kingdom Valley Act 1 S Rank

There are plenty of tightropes spread across Kingdom Valley that Shadow will reach higher on with a well-timed jump. However, doing a slam will immediately shoot Shadow upwards at maximum height. Use this tactic on every tightrope you come across.

Turning while surfing can be quite hard, so use the left and right dodges instead. You’ll lose momentum but it’s a much easier method than turning manually. While in the first section with Doom Surf, aim for the right. This will shoot you to a higher route that is much faster than surfing.

In certain surfing sections, a monster will chase after you, firing projectiles all the while.Take down these projectiles with Doom Spear, and use Chaos Control when prompted so you may use Doom Blast against them. Move to the lock-on point to skip ahead a significant amount.

When landing on the tightrope after a grind rail late in the mission, make sure toslam down to reach an even higher route. You’ll land on another grind rail along this route, though hop off it to activate another grind rail along the way for an even faster route to the goal.

Certain sections will contain enemies you can use Doom Blast on. While some have lock-on points, it’s better toaim for the statues that activate the grind rails. This will turn them on immediately, allowing Shadow to start grinding as soon as he catches up with the enemy.
