Each planet has one High Roller, but you can’t just walk up to their table. All four will require you to earn the right to challenge them in the game’s toughest Sabacc matches.
High Rollers play with eight chips per player, leading to longer games overall. This also means that you can afford to take more risks!
How To Play Sabacc Against Bosnok On Toshara
After completingFalse Flag, you’ll get a call from Danka the next time you’re in Mirogana. She’ll tell you about a Sabacc game being played at Makal’s. Go down the hallway at the cantina to the guarded dead-end andspeak to the bouncer.Kay will drop Danka’s name and he’ll let her in.
Win a hand at the Sabacc table inside, and they’ll tell you aboutKaslo’s Sabacc Parlor, which is being run by Bosnok now that he’s free.
How To Enter Kaslo’s Sabacc Parlor
Kaslo’s Sabacc Parlor is located in the alleywayimmediately to the leftafter entering Mirogna from the spaceport, but the security droid won’t let you in. To challenge Bosnok, you’ll need to go in through the back.
Leave the alley andtake a left when you get back to the main road.Go down the stairs andtake another left at the bottom. This should take you between two counters to a platform behind some buildings.Use your grappling hookto swing across the broken walkway and enter the back door to the Parlor.
Tips For Beating Bosnok
Bosnok has his security team keeping an eye on Nix, so youcan’t use him to peek at other players’ cards- the option is completely disabled. That means you’ll need topay extra-close attention to what your opponents draw and discard, and use Shift tokens likeGeneral Auditto aggressively wear down their chip stacks.
Play a war of attrition against this table -don’t be afraid to stand if you have Sabacc, even if it’s a comparatively weak hand like fours or fives. The fewer chips you risk by spending on draws, the longer you’ll be able to outlast players who lose chips to the tax between rounds.
How To Play Sabacc Against Mehdo On Kijimi
In the streets on the west side of the city,listen for a conversation between some Sabacc players.Speak to them and they’ll tell you about a high-roller table that’s played in town. You should be able to find themjust southeast of the cantina entrance.
Head north to the cantina andspeak to the human bartender.She won’t tell you how to get in on the game, but she’ll tell you about a pilot who recently went bust and should be hanging around the spaceport.
At the spaceport, you can find the pilotsitting on the groundon the far side of the bridge from the landing pad.Give him100 creditsand he’ll give you the keycard for the cardroom.Return to the cantinaand use the keycard to open the locked door on the left-hand side.
Tips For Beating Mehdo
Mehdo and her crew have lots of Shift tokens thatchange the rules of the game, and theylike to use them early on.They especially likemaking high-numbered Sabaccsvaluable. If you have a good hand in the first round, it can be advantageous to cut your losses and pass, since Mehdo will likely change the rules as soon as her turn comes up.
Try winning a hand at thestandard cardroom in Kijimi’s Crimson Dawn districtbefore facing Mehdo. TheExhaustiontoken that you can get for winning is especially useful, as it can force opponents to discard their hand after they’ve carefully changed the table rules to give themselves an advantage.
How To Play Sabacc Against Quint On Tatooine
When you first arrive in Wayfar on Tatooine, you may notice aguarded building with Sabacc cards painted above the door.The bouncer won’t let you in at first, but don’t worry about it. Proceed with the main story on Tatooine until you can completeThe Gunslinger, gaining Quint’s Expert Abilities.
A little while after you earn Quint’s trust, you’ll get a message from her when youreturn to the Trailblazer. She’ll invite you to the previously-inaccessable Sabacc Parlor for a game. You can now return to Wayfar whenever you like to challenge her.
Tips For Beating Quint
Quint is themost cautious Sabacc opponent in the game.She prefers to conserve her chips with an okay hand than to take risks trying to get a great hand. This also means that she’ll oftenstand at the start of a round, making it hard to get a read on what she might have.
Expect Quint to try and drag out the game as long as possible using Shift Tokens likeRefund. You can either counter her with offensive tokens likeTarget Audit, or just ride it out and trust your skills. In either case,sending Nix to peek at her cards can be a huge help, since she likes to bluff.
How To Play Sabacc Against Lando On Akiva
The main quest on Akiva sends you to the Alcazar Cantina, where the bartender mentions a big Sabacc tournament in town. Near the bar is alow-stakes Sabacc table.Eavesdrop on the players to learn that the tournament is happening in abasement in the Hutt Districton the east side of Myrra City.
Go to the location marked on your map andwalk through the front door. The stairs to the basement are at the back of the building and to the right; at the bottom of the door you’ll be stopped by a bouncer; you can eitherbribe himor use yourHutt Reputationto get past him. Once you’re inside, you’ll meet a familiar face.
Complete Lando’s mission to unlock hisHigh RollerAbilities, then continue with the main story. Toward the end of the game, Lando willinvite you back to the basementto challenge him at Sabacc.
Tips For Beating Lando
Lando’s secret weapon is hisDirect Transactiontoken, which allows him totrade hands with another player.If you have a good hand, try to make it look like you’re in a weaker position than you are bydrawing cards then throwing them awayinstead of standing. You can also useImmunityto protect yourself.
The twi’lek player at the table hasCook The Books, and tends to use it early. It’s a good idea to go for sixes in the first round as a result.
