Once you’ve gone through the tutorial ofDisney Epic Mickey: Rebrushedand gotten a grip on the basic mechanics, you’ll finally reach the Ticket Booth area. This happens right after you finish your first side-scrolling level and fix some pipes for another Gremlin on the way.
This will essentially be your first main area where you’ll also get an important choice. However, when you enter Ticket Booth, you’ll first see Gremlin Tim being held hostage by a bunch of Blotlings, so the first order of business is to free him.
How To Free Gremlin Tim
The first and main part of the quest is quite easy as you see Gremlin Tim’s booth surrounded by some Blotlings. You’ll also get your first Guardian at this point. You can use the Guardian to befriend one of the Blotlings andthen simply use your paint or thinner on the rest of them.
If you use your paint, all the Blotlings will be befriended and Tim will ask them to leave at once. Alternatively, using Thinner will simply evaporate them. No matter which one you choose, Tim will simply open the doors to the next area after you save him, but you may help him further in the Ticket Booth quest for extra rewards.
Where To Find Tim’s Wrench
Once Tim is free, he’ll ask you for further help when you talk to him. First, he’ll tell you that he wants to fix the elephant ride butlost his wrench when he was working in a red-colored cup. When you look around the area, you’ll easily spot a cup ride with a red-colored cup in it.
Simply thin out the cup and you’ll find the wrench within. You can take this to Tim, who’s standingnear the main mechanism near the elephant ride on the other side. He’ll fix the elephant ride with the wrench and give you the next quest to fix the cup ride.
How To Fix The Spinning Cup Ride
For the final part of this quest, Tim will tell you to use the elephant ride to get to the back side of the cup ride where you canfix a couple of leaking pipes, though you’ll also get an important choice here. Here’s how you can get to these pipes:
You’ll get the main choice of this quest after fixing the pipes here sinceyou can either fill the pump with paint or thinner, but not both. The quest will have a different outcome depending on what you fill it with.
Should You Use Thinner Or Paint On The Pump?
Here are the outcomes based on what you fill the pump with:
Thinner
The spinning cup ride willcompletely break and the Ticket Booth quest will fail. However, this will drop a chest at the top of this ride that you could only get with this choice, which would give you a Bronze pin.
Paint
The cup ride will be fixed and Tim will show his gratitude by unlocking a separate hidden door, which willgive you a Silver pin exclusive to this choice. The quest will also succeed in this scenario.
As you might already understand, filling the pump with paint is technically the correct choicehere unless you’d like to play evil.
