Zelda and Tri have their work cut out for them inThe Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, as it’s not just the rifts that are bothering the people of Hyrule. Many of them are dealing with problems at home in their day-to-day life, but you can take a few moments to help them and earn rewards.
The Gorons on Eldin Volcano deal with extreme temperatures and dangerous living conditions being so close to the lava. However, they have rituals they perform to bring prosperity to their people. One of these Gorons needs your help getting back home to perform the ritual safely!
How To Carry The Coal To Goron City
Afterrestoring the rift on Eldin Volcano, head up along the northwestern side of the mountain. East ofthe Rock-Roast Quarry, but west ofthe Lizalfos Burrow, you’ll find a Goron named Ondes standing beside the lava fall.
He’s been tasked with delivering a flaming piece of coal to the city as part of a ritual to bring prosperity, but he’s run into a problem. Since Ondes' sense of direction is terrible, he asks for your help indelivering the coal to Limmejust outside the entrance to Goron City.
You’ll need tofind your own way backto the city to complete the special ritual. Bind Tri to the coal and begin your descent. Keep your distance from monsters on the way down!
Thecoal must remain ablazethe entire time, or you’ll have to start over.
If it goes out, you canreturn to Ondes for another– it’s not like he’s going anywhere.
The fastest way to reach Goron City is tohead south past the fiery slugs. You can hop down from the cliff here with Tri carrying the coal to quickly rush past the Smoothie Shop.
This allows you to avoid the hassle of keeping the coal warm, asthe slugs will give it a quick refreshbefore you make the jaunt over to the city’s entrance.
Limme is on the far side of the entrance, to the right of the cave.Speak to them while still carrying the coalto make the delivery. You’llreceive two might crystalsas compensation. Don’t worry about Ondes – they’ll send someone to go find him later.
