While playingDisney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, you’ll realize that the main path you have to take for the story and the game’s completion is fairly straightforward with very few challenging puzzles and fights. This is because most of the difficult content is hidden behind various side quests you may get.
You can get these side quests by either talking to specific NPCs at specific points of the story or simply picking up certain items. Find The Hatchet is one such difficult side quest due to the secret location of the hatchet itself.
How To Get Find The Hatchet Quest
As you arrive back at Mean Street after completing every major part of the story, you’ll realize that Horace and Big Bad Pete are two of the main quest-givers in these areas. Not only do these two give youspecial quests divided into different parts, but they also give you quests to find various items on the next part of your journey.
If you want to get the hatchet quest, you’ll essentially have to talk to Horace afterarriving at Mean Street past the Ventureland arc. If he doesn’t instantly give you this quest, you’re able to talk to him again until he does. It is likely that you’ll get a different quest or the rewards of a previous quest when you trigger the first dialogue.
Where To Get The Hatchet
Getting the hatchet itself can prove to be a difficult task since it’s hidden quite well inside the Lonesome Manor. To get there, you’ll first need to reach the Manor Library by going through various projector screens on the way.This is also the place where you’ll find Leona, who you might’ve heard of from a ghost for another side quest before.
If you give Leona the lost book, she’ll tell youabout the hatchet being high up in the Library. There are two main ways to get there:
There will be three exploding Blotlings near the hatchet, andyou’ll have to either friend them or remove thembefore heading inside.
After getting the hatchet, you may take it back to Horace when you arrive in Mean Street toget a power spark and a Hatchet Pin.
