InDisney Dreamlight Valley, there are plenty of quests to complete with your new neighbors. However, not every quest is easily available. Some are hidden behind requirements that don’t present themselves, and others aren’t logged in your menu at all. It can be hard to keep track of everything, but we’ll guide you through it.
Timon and Pumbaa entered Disney Dreamlight Valley with the Jungle Getaway update, and their best friend quests are locked behind a hidden requirement. We’ll show you how to unlock it and progress further with your furry friends!
Where To Find The Night Mite
This quest is a hidden requirement tounlock both Timon and Pumbaa’s level ten quests, however, you’ll need to get bothTimon and Pumbaa to max friendshipbefore it starts.
With these two villagers maxed out, the hunt begins. Search around your village,generally the Peaceful Meadow, for a shadowy little bug. Itmoves incredibly fastand leaves a trail of darkness in its wake.
The location of where the Night Mite is varies based on how you’ve decorated your village. Keep your eyes peeled!
Thankfully, it moves in a pattern. Watch where the bug moves andtime your own movementsso you can step in its way and catch it. Once you have the bug in your inventory,bring it to Merlinfor investigation.
When he sees the Night Mites, he realizes thatthey have a similar effect as the Night Thorns. You’ll need to recruit the best bug catchers in the valley to help with this infestation: Timon and Pumbaa!
After you speak with Timon and Pumbaa,head to Merlin’s Libraryto begin the investigation. Talk to Merlin about the specifics, then speak with the bug hunters again to wrap up the quest andimmediately begin The Infestation questlineto get rid of the Night Mites once and for all!
