In your travels with Zelda and Tri inThe Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, you’ll encounter numerous rifts that threaten Hyrule. These rifts swallow up everything in sight, trapping any living creatures in its path within the Stilled World. Without your help, they’ll be stuck inside forever.
Using the power of your echoes, you’ll be able to help everyone around Hyrule with whatever they need. The Goron Chief could use your assistance in checking on his friends as the rifts continue to grow along the Eldin Volcano. Here’s how to find Elder Gol and help him in the Rock-Roast Quarry.
Where To Find Elder Gol
Upon restoring theStilled Goron City Rift,follow Darston’s instructions and head northwest. Pass the Business Scrub and their Smoothie Shop so you cancross over the iron bridge.
Beware the monsters here, asthey drop bombsaround the area. Use the rocks to your advantage and deploy your best echoes to defeat any beast that stands in your way.
Keep heading northwest until you reach the iron entrance with two torches!
Once inside, approach the three balled up Gorons to the right. They’re alltired from running awaywhen the rift opened up nearby, so you’ll need tobring them a mealto rejuvenate them.
The path to the Roack Roasts is dangerous, however. While short, you willencounter two Tweelus monsters. These creatures hit hard, so tackle them with your echoes.
If youknock a Tweelus into the lava, it will get stuck and be unable to reach you!
Make your way along the rocky platforms to the left, thencircle around to the rightto find four perfectly cooked Rock Roasts. Darston will have trouble choosing which one is best, but it doesn’t matter.
Select whichever one you’d like, thenbind Tri to it. Carry it back across the quarry to deliver it.
Be sure todefeat the enemies on the way up, otherwise it will make your job harder on the way back.
When you get back to the three curled up Gorons,drop the Rock Roastin front of them. It will trigger a scene where they quickly consume their meal and jump back up.
While you canlearn the Rock-Roast echo, the elders won’t accept anything but the real deal!
Darston willask about the shortcutto the crater, but unfortunately, Elder Gol doesn’t have the answer. MaybeElder Silv at the Lizalfos Burrowwill know more, but for now, the quest concludes.
