As you playDisney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll find new and old friends across various Realms based on iconic Disney and Pixar movies. From towering characters that can carry their own weight to smaller ones who can quickly zoom around the village, there are plenty of people and animals to meet and help out.
Revisiting the Lion King Realm brings new villagers to your valley, and both Timon and Pumbaa could use a bit of help getting ready before making the journey to their new home. We’ll walk you through how to find them and get them ready for the big move.
Where To Find Timon And Pumbaa
To start this quest, you’ll need to alreadyhave Simba in your village. Speak with him to learn he’s been dreaming of the friends he’s left behind in his Realm. He’ll ask you togo get Timon and Pumbaa, since he can’t go back there without losing all of his memories again.
Make your way toThe Lion King Realm within the Dream Castleto revisit the area. You’ll notice that the dark and dangerous oasis surrounded by hyenas before is now asafe and thriving Oasis.
You can also fast travel to the Realm via your map!
Once inside the Realm, make your way through the winding tunnel to the river. Timon and Pumbaa will be up by the waterfall!Speak with Timon to introduce yourselfand ask them to come with you on Simba’s behalf.
The meerkat is wary of you andwants you to relaxbefore going anywhere new with you. To start this process, you’ll have tocraft a leafy manefor yourself.
How To Make The Red Leafy Mane
To create this mane, you’ll need tocollect materials around the jungle. You’ll need the following:
The materials are foundall throughout the jungle, from the oasis to the camp at opposite ends. Give the stones and wood to Timon and he’llbuild a Crafting Stationfor you. Use the Crafting Station toassemble the Red Leafy Manefrom the leaves you collected.
With your newly equipped mane,talk with Timonagain. He compliments your work and asks you tofollow him to progresswith your hakuna matata lesson plans.
Where To Find The Lost Crown
After listening to Timon and Pumbaa discuss your lessons,talk to Timonto get started. To put your past behind you, Timon wants you tobreak something symbolicof your past. The perfect item is a crown, and there’sone in the riverfor you to fish out!
Head down the waterfall from the jungle camp andlook for the orange bubbles. Use your Royal Fishing Rod to pull the crown out of the river.
you’re able to see the tip of the crown poking out of the water!
In addition to the crown, you’ll need tocraft an empty vialfrom sand and coal.Bring the Forgotten Crown and the empty vial to Timonso he can set everything up.
Take your Royal Pickaxe andsmash the Forgotten Crown, then follow Timon to the river where you’ll shout all your worries into the vial.Toss the vial into the riverto let your worries, literally, float away. Make your wayback to campto start wrapping up the day.
Don’t worry about littering! Pumbaa will dive in to get it later.
How To Make Leafy Beds
Once you’re back at the jungle camp, speak with Timon again. He’s ready to get some rest, but needs help prepping the beds for each of you. Take your Royal Shovel anddig up the three piles of leavesaround the camp.
There are two small ones for your friends and a much larger one for you to use. With the beds ready,say goodnight to both Timon and Pumbaa, then crawl into your new bed to rest.
Listen to Timon and Pumbaa’s conversation, which will lull you to sleep and the day will end. The next quest begins immediately!
