Furniture is essential to making your house look good inReka. From simple tables to unique decorations like plant-filled skulls, there are tons of options for you to get your hands on. At first, your house may look a bit bare, but that’s okay!
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how you may get more furniture. The purpose of this is to help you make your house feel more like a home, and witchy clutter is the perfect way to do so. It’s also worth noting that while it’s possible to get a lot of furniture, you shouldn’t feel obligated to place it all down.
Reka is currently in Early Access on Steam and as such, the content is subject to change. We will update these articles as required.
How To Buy Furniture
The first way to get new furniture is bybuying it from a town. Each town that you come across will have amerchant selling some goods in a plaza-like area of town. Here, you can purchase ingredients, as well as some decorations and large furniture pieces.
The furniture offered varies from town to town, but this is agreat way to get pieces if you have the money to do so.If you happen to have no money, head over to the scales on the merchant’s table and sell some items.
If you don’t like what the merchant has to offer, you can always move on to a new city.
Furniture In Chests, Sacks, & Graves
While running around the map, you will findchests, graves (that need to be cleansed first), and sacks that can hang from beams in abandoned houses. Each of these has the potential to hold furniture and smaller decorations.
When you first arrive in a new map, wehighly suggest running around and seeing what you can loot.Chests can be found in boats, carts, covered wagons, and lookout posts. If you come across a structure that’s not part of the village, you will have a good chance to find something that can be looted!
Give The Lutki Berries
Looking for some smaller decorations? A great way to getsmall, miscellaneous decorations(such as hanging and dried herbs) is bygiving Lutki berries.Within the tutorial portion of the game, Baba Jaga will send you off to a Lutki village to retrieve an item;this serves as your introduction to the Lutki.
On every other map you visit from here on out, you will be able to find Lutki villages; some maps may even have several Lutki villages. Be sure tostop by with a handful of berries and see what these little wooden creatures have to offer you.
Complete Quests To Earn Furniture
The last way to get new furniture pieces is bycompleting quests that NPCs give you. These are random, but from time to time, you may get a quest that rewards you with some furniture. Quests in Reka vary in terms of what is asked, but for the most part, they can be completed in a short amount of time.
Who knows, you maycomplete a small fetch quest for a savory meal and receive a large bed! When in town, try talking to as many people as possible to see if there are any quests available for you to complete.
