10Blue-Eyes White Dragon - Ultra Rare - $6.19
A Roaring Blue-Eyes Card
Blue-Eyes White Dragon is one ofthe most iconic cards from the Duel Monsters era. Sure, two tributes back then had nothing on single-tribute beatsticks of the era. However, its presence in the anime helped it skyrocket in popularity.
Blue-Eyes constantly rises and falls in the meta. At times, it can become the world’s best deck. Other times, it earns the nickname Brick-Eyes. Regardless, Blue-Eyes is special and high rarity versions can get pretty expensive depending on the art and set it is released in.
9Blast Sphere - Secret Rare - $7.20
Maximizing Your Rarity Collection
The Retro Pack has a few goodies in the roster, including reprints of cards that couldn’t be found in regular packs at the time. One of these cards is Blast Sphere. This is a card from the good old days when monsters could stay on the field for more than one turn.
When attacked and flipped, Blast Sphere attaches itself to whatever monster provoked it. It then blows itself and that monster up during your opponent’s next Standby Phase. This is also the only set where you can pull a secret rare of this card.
8Ancient Lamp - Secret Rare - $7.42
When You Wish For More Monsters
Ancient Lamp is another one of those cards that you need to go out of your way to find a secret rare printing. With the secret rare effects, it makes this genie lamp sparkle like never before. Of course, if you rub it, you’ll be able to Summon one ofDuel Monster’s most iconic vanilla beatsticks.
This card is meant to pair with La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp. So, if your opponent attacks it while it is face down, you’re able to choose something else to take the attack instead. Then, while it is face up, you can bring out a La Jinn for free.
7Exchange Of The Spirit - Secret Rare - $8.52
A Card With A Pre-Errata Printing
Not only is Exchange of the Spirit a secret rare in Retro Pack, but it comes with the card text that existed before the card got an errata. Modern printings have this card limited to once per duel. You also need both players to have 15 cards in their graveyards before it can be activated.
Retro Pack brings it back to the good old days when the only one who needed graveyard setup was the player using it. It lets you mill your opponent’s entire deck, forcing them to play with whatever is in their hand or swapped in from the graveyard.
6Kaibaman - Secret Rare - $10.69
Kaiba’s OC Joins The Fight
Kaibaman is not from the Duel Monsters era but the GX era. While there are many cards that can bring out a Blue-Eyes White Dragon in a much more efficient fashion, Kaibaman has a special place in the hearts of gamers.
This monster is based on Seto Kaiba himself. It is one of the few times you’re able to literally use the legend himself to bring out his signature ace monster. Retro Pack has this card as a secret rare, giving it that much-needed sparkle.
5Amazoness Chain Master - Secret Rare - $11.98
A Card Thief
There aren’t many cards that can steal from your opponent’s hand. Sure, some cards let you rip cards and send them to the graveyard.Others can take your opponent’s monsters from the fieldso you can use them. Amazoness Chain Master lets you take a card and put it into your own hand.
This is an interesting effect because it can prevent them from ever getting that card back. This means no graveyard effects and no returning it from the banish pile. The only way they’ll ever see that monster back is if you use it or if they hand rip you right back.
4Copycat - Secret Rare - $14.87
One Of Joey’s Trickiest Cards
Copycat is one ofthe coolest cards in Joey’s deck. This monster can copy the stats of other monsters that your opponent controls. This allows you to choose their strongest monster and beat over their weaker ones. you’re able to also just crash into their biggest tower and get rid of that obstacle.
If this card could copy the effects, it would be even better. However, this classic card is too old-school for that. Luckily, it is iconic and earns a spot in your binder dedicated to all the cards that appeared in the anime.
3Embodiment Of Apophis - Secret Rare - $19.17

The Odion cards from Maze of the Master give the Apophis cards more to do. So if you’re looking for a sweet rarity bump for your deck, Retro Pack has a secret rare printing of Embodiment of Apophis.
This card is part ofa subtype of Trap cardsthat become monsters while on the field. This one turns itself into a level four Reptile with 1600 attack and 1800 defense. While it’s not remarkable in terms of power, it’s the name that you want on the field to get your other cards going.
2Cyber Harpie Lady - Secret Rare - $23.25
The Strongest Harpie Lady
The interesting thing about all the Harpie Lady cards is that, despite having different card names, they are usually treated as Harpie Lady. This little box of text means, no matter the printing, name, or art style, you can only have three of those cards in a deck.
Cyber Harpie Lady is one of the better versions of Harpie Lady. Unlike her sisters, she doesn’t have a measly 1300 attack. She gets the full 1800 to beat down some monsters. With no other effects, you might as well choose the one that can hit the hardest.
1Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon - Secret Rare - $26.00
Nostalgic And Powerful
If you combine three Blue-Eyes White Dragons, you can bring out Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. This isn’t always the best trade off when three Blue-Eyes give you 9000 attack on the field while this fusion only gives you 4500. However, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon can be cheesed out in various formats.
This is also just a good card for players that enjoy nostalgia. It deserves a spot right next to other classic Fusions of the time, such as Black Skull Dragon, Thousand Dragon, and The Flame Swordsman.
