12Bardon - Aries
March 21 - April 19
One of the first characters you’ll meet upon entering Martira is Bardon, head of the guard in the small town. As you progress throughout this arc of the story, you’ll see Bardon stuck in the middle of a tricky personal conflict, but by the end, he’ll be all the stronger for it.
In spite of his struggles, and difficulty in expressing the nuances of his personality, Bardon always manages to be eager and finds himself drawn to positions of leadership. This makes him the perfect candidate to be an Aries.
11Heismay - Taurus
April 20 - May 20
The Eugiefrepresentative for your partywho you’ll meet during the Martira arc of the story, Heismay often finds himself misunderstood thanks to his circumstances. He’s initially resistant to outside help from the party, and has no interest in sharing his issues, but eventually learns that opening up is sometimes the best way to move on in life.
As you grow to learn more about Heismay, in spite of his stoic and prideful demeanor, you’ll discover just how caring he can be to those who are willing to put the effort in to break down his walls, making him close to a Taurus.
10Magnus Brothers - Gemini
May 21 - June 20
While Fidelio and Basilio are by no means the same character, thanks to how often the brothers are paired together, and their interesting dynamic, they make the perfect fit for the celestial twins Gemini.
While the older Fidelio tends to be more stern, and Basilio is a little softer, both of these Paripus brothers are fiercely loyal. In spite of this, they can also come across a little immature, but this also helps them light up a room when they’re in the right mood.
9Maria - Cancer
June 21 - July 22
Maria is one of the most instantly sympatheticcharacters in Metaphor: ReFantazio, burdened by her sudden orphanhood, while also learning to deal with the discrimination she faces for having parents from two different tribes.
In spite of her dire circumstances, for such a young girl, Maria is incredibly brave in how she directly tackles her issues. Even though she’s aware of her fearfulness and tendency to get overwhelmed, she is able to support herself by having a bright outlook, making her a Cancer.
8Junah - Leo
July 23 - August 22
An unabashed fan of the spotlight being a Leo? We aren’t surprised either. In spite of her seemingly clear personality, Junah is one of the more complex characters in Metaphor: ReFantazio, with many more layers than initially expected.
Even so, she’s not ashamed of her desire for attention, and is proud of her ability to perform. With all this in mind, she’s still painfully self-aware, but doesn’t let this dull her shine.
7Eupha - Virgo
August 23 - September 22
The Mustari representation in the protagonists' party, Eupha has one of the most engaging introductions to the traveling group, with her willing to lay down her life as a sacrifice to save her village.
In spite of her horrific circumstances, the priestess remains calm and methodical, only cracking when her core worldview begins to crumble. Even so, she’s quick to brush herself off, and carry on stronger than ever, making her a fantastic Virgo representative.
6Hulkenberg - Libra
September 23 - October 22
One of the earliest members to join the party, Hulkenberg is straight to the point, but is also willing to have fun and try new things on her adventure with the party. However, she knows when it’s time to get serious, and her strong sense of justice is a core part of her character.
In her bond, we see her struggle to come to terms with those who operate on a less balanced moral system than hers. In spite of this, she still has the conviction to stand her ground, making her a Libra.
5More - Scorpio
October 23 - November 21
The most mysterious player in Metaphor: ReFantazio’s plot is More, the author seemingly trapped in Akademia, the dimension that only the protagonist and Gallica have managed to directly access.
Unique to the other characters, the more we help the intensely passionate More with his research, the more we help him recover his amnesia and the truth of his situation. In spite of the mysteries that surround him, he’s still incredibly perceptive, making him a Scorpio.
4Gallica - Sagittarius
November 22 - December 21
Atlus has a reputation for divisive companion characters in their RPGs, but Gallica seems to break the curse, being one of the less obnoxious, but still lighthearted characters that always has our protagonist’s back.
While she’s always enthusiastic and looking for ways to help, she’s also on the quieter side, not feeling the need to enter every conversation and knowing when it’s best to just listen. Because of how mindful our Fairy companion is, she makes a fantastic Sagittarius.
3Brigitta - Capricorn
December 22 - January 19
One of the first optional bonds you can unlock in Grand Trad is the owner of the igniter shop, Brigitta. This Rhoag is initially incredibly closed off and quite serious in her relationship with the protagonist, but once we earn her trust, we get to see more of her vulnerable side.
Capricorns tend to be incredibly goal-oriented, and this is a trait strongly shared by Brigitta, who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals, even if it means delegating tasks to her private army, or maybe just the hero instead.
