Throne And Libertyis a classic MMO inasmuch there are three main roles:Healer, Tank, and DPS. These roles are made up of a combination of weapon choices between the available weapons: Daggers, Crossbow, Staff, Wand And Tome, Sword And Shield, Greatsword, and Longbow. How you choose to combine these weapons will form the basis of your role. For example, the Wand And Tome/Longbow build is currently the most popular Healer build in the game.

This guide will cover the different weapons, how they can be combined, and offer some advice on the type of role you might want to play as you get started in Throne And Liberty.

The Different Classes In Throne And Liberty

Different weapon combinations actually get different in-game names. Classes are separate from roles.

These are the most popular combinations - but there are more possible. It’s a good idea to stick with something from the current meta, however, as you might find some weapon combinations do not complement each other.

Healer

In the current version of the game, the most popular Healer/Support weapon combination isLongbow and Wand And Tome.

You get a lot of Healing and Support abilities from the Wand, with extra single-target damage and more support abilities from the Longbow.

There’s a lot of flexibility with these two weapons also, as you may lean more heavily into the Wand’s AoE Curse combo to help clear mobs while solo farming or dealing more damage during boss battles.

Being Healer is also useful in PvP, as once you’ve started to create a full-hit endgame PvP Support build, you’re not only difficult to kill, but you’ll also be keeping your allies safe.

Tank

There are two main options for a tank build in Throne And Liberty:Sword And Shield with the WandandSword and Shield with the Greatsword.

There are some key differences between these two weapon combination choices.

Throne and Liberty Upgrade scorpion class.

Sword And Shield/Wand

This is an ultimately very powerful combination as it offers the tank gameplay of Sword And Shield with the powerful sustain of the Wand. This is not only useful in PvE, but also an incredibly frustrating build to play against in PvP - or fun for whoever is using it.

Sword And Shield/Greatsword

This is your more typical tank that is more concerned with Taunting and dealing Crowd Control effects to both PvE and PvP enemies.

DPS

There are alotof choices for DPS in Throne And Liberty.

Some of the most popular builds include the Staff/Dagger for PvE, the Greatsword/Crossbow for PvP, and Crossbow/Dagger for PvP. This sort of barely scratches the surface of what is possible in the game.

There are a lot of combinations though, so it’s best for us to focus on what type of gameplay style each of the weapons has.

Crossbow

The Crossbow is a powerful weapon that allows plenty of mobility with its relatively short cooldown skillNimble Leap. It’s all about debuffing your enemies with weaken, out-playing them with mobility, and dealing significant damage with multi-shot abilities and barrages.

Daggers

More mobility here withCleaving Moonlight,Shadow Strike, andFrenzied Sword Dance. The Dagger is a fast-paced assassin-like weapon that actually pairs extremely well with the mobility of the crossbow. You also get a lengthy stealth ability, which is pretty fun.

Staff

If you love blowing stuff up in impressive cascades of ice and fire, the Staff is for you. This is one of the most popular PvE weapons because of its mass-AoE clear for grinding mobs, but it’s also very, very good in the chaotic, zerg-like PvP that makes up Throne And Liberty’s endgame.

Overall, though, there are plenty of options across the different weapon combinations for DPS. Even weapons like the Wand, Longbow, and Sword And Shield offer their fair share of DPS.

How To Choose A Class

Throne And Liberty offers a flexible system to try weapons out during the early game. But there are a few caveats.

Weapon Mastery is one of the most important parts of scaling your power in the game, andit’s quite the grind. This is why it’s a good idea tochoose your weapon combination early and stick with it.

You don’t want to get too deep into upgrading skills or gear without knowingexactlywhich weapons you want to play in the endgame.

Therefore, we recommendtrying out as many weapons as possible during the first 20 levels.Have your main class and weapon combination figured out before level 20 to save you the hassle later on.
