Back when the earlier games in theSparking Zero, aka Budokai Tenkaichi, series came out, Whis didn’t exist. Now, not only is he a significant part of the Dragon Ball series, but he’s also part of the games. In fact, he’s even giving you demands in the new Sparking Zero game.
Yet, he does seem to prefer the word ‘wishes’ instead of demands. In any case, if you complete them, you may be rewarded with Zeni or even Dragon Balls. So, it’s worth doing some of them. The following ones are particularly worth doing since they’re rather easy. Here is a guide to doing each one of the simple tasks.
Complete A Battle Training Session Five Times
In the’Battle And Training' tabof the main menu, you can findthe ‘Super Training’ option. Select it, then choose’Battle Training.‘This takes you to a Mountain area where Gohan and Piccolo are about to train.
On the menu that pops up, press’Select Training Type.‘This takes you to another menu. This one includes all sorts of different tutorials you can do. Do any five from the beginner, intermediate, or advanced tabs to complete this wish for Whis. Some of them are very easy to do, which is what makes this a simple wish to grant.
Clear A Bonus Battle
To do a bonus battle, you mustselect ‘Custom Battle’from the main menu. If this is your first time pressing on it, you will be treated to explanations about custom battles and things of that nature. However, to complete this wish, you need topress on ‘Bonus Battles’once you have the chance. Then, you will be taken to an area filled with different bonus battles you can take on.
To easily complete Whis’s wish, select andplay ‘Master’s Mentor.‘In this custom story, Trunks and Piccolo are training together. All you need to do is beat the Namekian as Trunks. It’s a simple fight. Getting the win completes the bonus battle and Whis’s wish.
Play Offline Battle Three Times
For this wish, you simply have to play three battles offline. So, head tothe ‘Battle And Training’ tabon the main menu andchoose ‘Battle.‘Then,press ‘Offline’and pit yourself against the CPU.
After that, you’re able to freely pick your stage, settings, and characters. None of this matters for the wish. All that matters is you complete three of these fights. As you don’t even have to win, it’s very straightforward.
Edit A Player Card
Your player card is what others see when you play online. For this wish, you just have to edit it. Therefore, you need to head tothe ‘Shop And Customize’ tabon the main menu and select ‘Player Card.’ Doing so takes you to your current card.
From here, you just need to press the button prompted at the bottom of your screen to’Change Settings.‘Then, a little settings menu appears at the side of the screen. Select and change any of the things on this menu, then head back to the main menu to complete this easy wish.
All Special Banter Missions
There are32 different Special Banter Missions, and each one is its own wish. To complete them, you need to see specific character interactions before a fight.
If you go into Whis’s Stamp Book from the’Challenges And Missions’ tab, you can hover over the specific banter missions andhit the button that’s labeled ‘Details’at the bottom of the screen. This shows you who you need to see banter with one another. Then, simply have the two face off in the regular battle mode to complete the wish. Each one is very easy, but it may take you some time to do all 32 of them.
To complete the wish, you need to see the two characters interact at the start of the battle, so if it’s a team fight, they need to be the first fighters from both teams. Also, you need to actually finish the fight to complete the wish.
Battle Special Mission (Throw) One
A few of Whis’s wishes involve throwing people during battle. In Special Mission (Throw) One, you mustthrow Frieza (Z), 4th Form, while playing as Goku (Z - Mid). So, set up a battle between those two characters.
Then, during the fight, get close to Frieza and pressboth the guard and strike buttons to throw him. This will prompt a special throw animation. At the end of the fight, you will have granted the wish.
