Summary
One of the benefits of doing most of your gaming on aPCas opposed to a console is the customization options available to you. Whether it’s multiple monitors or a glowing rainbow rig, your PC can not only be as powerful as you need it to be, but it can look good doing it. Aside from choosing your keyboard’s design at the point of purchase, you might not think of it as a part of your setup that can be customized even further. That’s where keycaps come in, andYu-Gi-Ohjust got some pretty special ones.
Sure, there are fancy keyboards - likethis mechanical Fallout option from Ducky- but for the most part, if you’ve seen one keyboard, you’ve seen them all. If you want to make a keyboard truly unique, then you need keycaps. Yu-Gi-Oh has a lot of new options available for pre-order now, whether you’re new to the world of keycaps or looking to add to a keyboard that already has some in place.
Although keycaps are largely designed with appearance in mind over functionality, Yu-Gi-Oh’s Kuriboh Brothers options check both boxes. Their flat designs make them look like you could tap away on them and have it feel almost the same as your keyboard feels right now. It’s also the cheapest option in the new range as a single Kuriboh keycap costs $16.99. The Kuriboh Brothers are also the only keycaps available as a set. Get five of them in different colors for $65.99.
Dark Magician Girl And The Kuriboh Brothers Watching Over You While You Make Typos
If you don’t care how these keycaps feel to use and you just want them sitting on keys you never use, watching you work, then there are some other more elaborate options. Both Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl have their own keycaps. Each of them has assumed a fighting stance and is standing on top of an open book. Rounding out the neat new collection is a toon version of Blue-Eyes Dragon, also on top of an open book and again, created to look good and not for everyday use unless you are incredibly talented and can adapt to using very unconventionally-shaped keys.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Toon Dark Magician Girl Keycap
Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Dark Magician Girl has been turned into a keycap. The toon version of the monster is standing on top of an open book with a wand in her hand and is made out of PVC.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon Keycap
One of the most famous monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! history synonymous with the series, Blue-Eyes Dragon has now been turned into a keycap. The toon version of the monster is made of PVC and sitting on an open green book.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Kuriboh Brothers Keycap Set
Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Kuriboh Brothers have been turned into a set of keycaps. Five of them, all in different colors, or the brown can be bought individually.
The Dark Magician and Dragon keys are a little more expensive than the individual Kuriboh Brothers keys since they’re more elaborate, priced at $22.99 each. That’s a lot of money if you want to deck out your entire top row in Yu-Gi-Oh keys but hey, if you want to and you may afford it, that keyboard’s going to look good once you’re done. Not for a while, though. Even though pre-orders are open, the keycaps won’t be released until February 2025.
